Just watched Pottersville on Netflix, awesome it mentions the Yowie and Mount Tamborine (well for us SE-QLD folk it was awesome

)

Thanks for the tip off.
Also the doco "Under Australian Skies" ( I think thats the title ) mentions Yowie activity also. Its mostly a ufo doco but they very briefly talk about the ufo-bigfoot connection.

Nice! This made me happy. I was already planning to add something nice to my watch list. I just exhausted watching shows by
Andy Yeatman because I wanted to finish it before my holidays. I am glad I was able to do that. I might look for more of his shows though.

Finally managed to see Pottersville on Netflix recently. Liked it that much I watched it again a few days later. Great light comedy, many laughs - thanks for the heads up - I would never have found it otherwise. Good to hear Yowies and Queensland get a mention. One thing the movie does imply is how easy a misunderstanding can escalate to a potentially dangerous (although humerous) fake event.
Maybe something like that might re-invigorate some of our dying towns!
