This is one people have been waiting for.

Witness Quote: “Scientifically, it shouldn’t be here. According to all the agreed theories, even if it was here, it should have been 200,000 to 300,000 years ago – not in 2017”

He has a double degree in Science, Archaeology and Paleo Archaeology - and has offered to come onto the forum at some stage and field some of your questions.

Very impressive interview and one of our favorites.

That sounds like a great person to have on your board, I'd love to field a few questions their way!

Excellent report.... great work. A couple of questions off the bat.... did he notice any smell (perhaps wind blowing the wrong way)? In saying he was spooked, was there any sense of 'dread'? Was there any particular colouring to the face skin? Was it facing uphill or downhill? (Maybe this was mentioned, silly me if it was)

Great report!

This may be a very important and historical turning point that see's this subject become a little more widely accepted.

If only in small steps, but steps none the less.

Very good report with possible answers to the Australian Yowie. But Sasquatch is still a mystery.

WOW !! (claps hands)

A fascinating interview and possibly the most important sighting ever to be reported here . Thanks to the guy for having the courage to relay his sighting . I would imagine there have been other scientists that haven't said a thing and kept their sighting to themselves .

Three things I noticed , scientists now accept that hominids may have crossed the Wallace line (that's incredible in itself) , the tide has turned , and scientists will eventually be searching for these hominid fossils . A complete reversal from the 70's .

I don't get excited about much but this is exciting !!

I'm not that convinced. Yes supposed to be a prime area but not a lot of info gleaned except opinion and the interviewee is quite insistent. Also, show us evidence that scientific consensus has shifted about the Wallace line etc. I believe the yowie did cross it but that claim shouldn't be swallowed wholesale by YHR.

I tend to agree with you Boab Bob.

So these Yowies may have crossed The Wallace Line from Asia to Australia.

Witness Quote: “Scientifically, it shouldn’t be here. According to all the agreed theories, even if it was here, it should have been 200,000 to 300,000 years ago – not in 2017” Unquote.

So I presume that Bigfoot came across the Bering Land Bridge from Russia some 12,000 years ago to populate Canada and the US as this appears the only way to have arrived then made their way through Mexico and Central America to South America. Wild hairy ape-like men have also been reported all over Europe and the UK as well as China and Russia.

And the Australian Yowie came down to Australia to establish two or three different species here. And during all of these miraculous voyages, they managed to establish numerous subspecies that have remained virtually undiscovered for thousands of years. Sounds unbelievable. :?

Sounds like a level-headed witness. I know he has degrees and is well-educated, but I don't place more value or emphasis on his report than on those of others not so educated.
Not meaning to sound like a put-down. To be sure, he is better placed perhaps to compare what he saw to other Hominds/Hominins.
Not sure about anyone else but I found his voice a bit unclear in places.

Main question I have is, if they crossed Wallace's Line to PNG and then on to Australia, how come they never came to Tasmania? (Because there was a land bridge across Bass Strait until about 9-10,000 years ago...that's how the Aborigines crossed over.) Lots of forest in Tasmania and the climate shouldn't be a problem for them as they have fur/hair and have been observed in the NSW/Vic snow country.

Contrary to another poster who tries to put down anything not related to metaphysical psychobabble, we KNOW they have been here for a very long time because the Aboriginals have known about them for thousands of years. So they may have pre-dated the Aboriginals or arrived at roughly the same time. But not recently.

You just can't accept defeat, can you? And I don't believe Yowies have been here for thousands of years where's your proof.

Hi senses , interesting statement, how long do you think Yowie’s have been here ? I’m not putting my beliefs forward because I don’t pretend to know anything as fact but I am interested in your answer please.

I don’t want to start a new thread, I’m just asking a question about a statement in this thread .
