They were tired (by own admission in last written report). Difficult to start a fire.
Probably became hypothermic.
As hypothermia progresses, it is common for the victims to take off their clothes and wander.
The 4 bodies found furthest from camp were buried under 4 metres of snow. The weight of the snow may well have accounted for the internal injuries.
The mutilation of the woman's face may simply have been due to wildlife (I have seen a photo of it.)
No great mystery I feel, but a sad tragedy and loss of young lives.
There was one "survivor"...one member of the group became ill at the last minute and pulled out of the hike. I am sure he lived with a mixture of guilt and relief all his life afterwards. Such a sad story.

Fascinating story! One that I doubt will ever be solved. There have been many documentaries about what supposedly happened on that ski trip in the mountains, all of which have been speculative and inconclusive. It's certainly been a bonanza for conspiracy theorists! All that is known for sure is that 9 young students met an untimely end in very strange circumstances.

An updated item from today's ABC News gives more information about the mystery: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-02-06/ ... tion=world

Its definitely a odd case. I personally dont believe it was anything paranormal.

One explanation I remember reading in regards to the incident was that the wind travelling through the pass created infrasound which in turn caused panic in the victims.

That's cool , everyone has their own opinion .
In a report long ago I read that there were traces of radiation on some of the clothing . Locals saw lights in the sky at around the same time . The females eyes , tongue and part of her lips were missing . The removal of eyes , tongue and lips is exactly what's happening with cattle mutilations .

Linda Moulten Howe (award winning journalist) investigated cattle mutilations for years . Apparently on one investigation she hired a vet to determine the cause of death . During the investigation the vet appaerntly stood up and said that he didn't want anything more to do with the investigation . Upon asking why this was the case the vet replied that the heart was removed from the cow but the sack that contained the heart was still unperforated .

I understand that people find it very difficult to believe that aliens have anything to do with cattle mutilations , maybe they do , maybe they don't , but there are also human mutilations documented across the globe . It's very disturbing .

Butch Witkowski spent his career in law enforcement , homicide investigation , no dummy . Below is a video from him about human mutilation .

David Paulides was also in law enforcement and stumbled across "clusters" of missing people in national parks in the U.S. Although he never mentions what or who the perpetraitor is he alludes that something very odd is happening and that humans and predation is not the cause .

All I'm saying with this is that lots of credible people are pointing out that something very odd is happening and humans aren't involved .

That's an interesting point but wouldn't explain the radiation .

Hey rusty.

Good point about the radiation. Did they have any info on what type of radiation was found there. Ionising radiation can take a few different forms. Finding out what kind they found would go a long way towards narrowing down what could have caused it, and by that, the nature of the incident.

I still dont think it was paranormal. Nor aliens.

I don't think they mentioned what type of radiation .
It would be interesting to know the true story .

Thanks Rusty. I hadn't seen this Butch Witkowski video before. Lots of scary stuff in there! And the way he tells it is very convincing. I wouldn't like to be the one trying to tell Butch he is making it all up.

I had heard before if you see a UFO... best to run!! That advice takes on even greater meaning after watching him address the abduction enigma.

Those little grey guys are clearly up to no good. (alien)

Hey Searcher , here's another video from Rich Planet . I don't follow him but it is more unsettling than Butch's presentation .
It's definately worth a look if you have the time .

Good one, Rusty.

It took a few sessions to get through that long video. Yes, it was quite thought provoking and certainly leaves you wondering about a few nightmarish things!

Perhaps…just perhaps, if only 1% of these human mutilation reports are genuine, then the reality is there is an enormous underlying problem with the alien visitors and the way they interact with the human race. We may be dealing with races so advanced...possibly millions of years...there is very little we can do about it. A mere million years is nothing when you think the age of the universe is said to be around 13.8 thousand million years! Do the thought experiment of lining up icy pole sticks in a long line, each one representing a million years.

Perhaps well known abductees like Travis Walton and Betty and Barney Hill can thank their lucky stars they were at least returned intact.

All you can do is keep an open mind in this never-ending search for the truth about UFO occupants. And keep your eye on the sky!

Yes , an estimated 100 billion stars in our own galaxy alone and at least 2 trillion galaxies in the known universe . You would have to be pretty naive to believe that we are the only intelligent species in the universe .

As for the bad aliens taking human souvenirs for god knows what reason there must be good aliens too . Surely it would be statistically impossible for all advanced lifeforms to be bad .

That's a LOT of stars!! And there may be even more than 100 billion in our galaxy. It seems astronomers just don't know as the Milky Way itself obscures the view. This information comes from the very informative Universe Today newsletter that regularly arrives in my inbox. I highly recommend it.

How Many Stars are There in the Milky Way?
When you look up into the night sky, it seems like you can see a lot of stars. There are about 2,500 stars visible to the naked eye at any one point in time on the Earth, and 5,800-8,000 total visible stars (i.e. that can be spotted with the aid of binoculars or a telescope). But this is a very tiny fraction of the stars the Milky Way is thought to have!

So the question is, then, exactly how many stars are in the Milky Way Galaxy? Astronomers estimate that there are 100 billion to 400 billion stars contained within our galaxy, though some estimate claim there may be as many as a trillion. The reason for the disparity is because we have a hard time viewing the galaxy, and there’s only so many stars we can be sure are there.

Here is something to consider.

What if the organs removed are the ones that either show the most effects from radiation exposure or store radiological material for the longest periods.

So that if one wanted to know just how much damage or poisoning occured in the united states or elsewhere from nuclear testing and the subsequent fallout and irradiation, it would be good to collect tissue from said organs in a population of, say, cattle downwind from the blasts.

So, if lots of testing occured in new mexico you'd want to "mutilate" cattle in texas and other places along the jetstream to get metrics on the extent and severity of the negative effects biologically.

Or if you purposely irradiated unwitting subjects in an immoral experiment in siberia and then took those organs of interest to see whats, what afterwards.

Personally I think it's only logical that other intelligent species are out there , it would be statistically impossible otherwise . If it was the case that we are the only life in the universe then that in itself is very odd .

Anything is possible I suppose but it would seem like an extreme way to collect "organs" (Dyatlov Pass) when you could just go to the hospital in the area of inquiry .

Cant do an immoral test on live humans and leave witnesses. And you'd probably want to get the organs before the bodies are discovered by authorities and inaccessabile . So find some victims in the middle of nowhere. Irradiate them. Dispatch them and then take what you need. Pretty messed up thing to do but i wouldnt be surprised
