Using the quote function/button

Unread post by Dion » Tue Jan 07, 2020 1:49 pm

I have noticed a few people lately that are seemingly not be able to properly use the quote function / button.

To use it properly and if wanting to quote someone press the quote button which can be found in the top right hand side of a members post, its the " symbol (you can only do this if logged in to the forum).

Once pressed you will be displayed with a quote text on a new page.

Please do not write or respond within the quoted post as this will no longer be part of your response but part of the quoted members post which makes things very difficult for others to understand while trying to read it. If you are wanting to quote all of the quote then you must start your response after the [ /quote] text without the spacing.

If you are unsure if you have made the right decision quoting others then there is a preview button right next to the submit post button that can be used freely before you hit submit.

Hope this helps some of you.
