I'd like to add my late congratulations for a very good piece of video evidence.
Well done to all involved.

I have 2 questions which I hope can be answered:

1) Is it possible to give details of the "hardware" used? Brand, model, technical details etc in case others might wish to kit themselves out with similar gear?

<snip>
The brand and model (Guide IR50) have been mentioned by several in the thread already. I Googled it for a quick look but the details didn't mean much to my ignorant self.

Questions of my own:

(1) Could the "footage" be stabilised in some way?, and:

(2) Is it possible to attach the unit to a tripod to avoid a shaky picture (or is just holding it carefully or resting it on something solid the only alternative) ?

We are talking about having them on tripods and doing the WiFi back to our phones. It’s the same connection to a tripod as any other camera.

So far it seems to be a safe camera.

Dan recommend his, which is why we arrived at this model. He knows more about them than I do.

I’m yet to have a real play. Steve has one heading to him, and I have another heading my way. I would like another two, so this team has one each.

It truly is a game changer and levels the field at night. They still think we’re blind - and have a complacency due to this.

Such was the non care of those two in the footage. Little did they know.

To dean and the other guys congrats just shows all the hard work is paying off great footage!!

I no a guy that goes shooting at night with just a flir and a night vision scope and what he did was got a drill and took it appart and mounted some plywood on the handle of the drill then mounted the flir to that
Its 10x more stable that way
Now hes rigged up a reversing camera screen to the flir so that he doesnt have to look into as its got no wifi the only problem is that the screen lets off heaps of light so it would of been better without the screen u could try this with the guide and if u wanted to be looking at your phone screen instead get one of the railblaza or ram mounts to hold your phone people use in there boats

There is also stuff on the net about rigging up a drills 12v battery to use it so u could set that up so that its charging the thermal or the phone while using it

Well done Dean, Buck and co. that silhouette is impressive as it bends over, thick arms and solid shoulders.
It would be very hard for sceptics to dismiss this footage.

I was wondering about what the distance was between Buck and subjects,
just to guess how tall they may have been ?

A monopod is a good option too, which I use a lot on my telephoto lens. More portable, lighter (for same material) and quick. Takes 75% of the shake out while being easy to aim and move. Most come with a loop to help a little with security when moving.

This is a great bit of footage . Youd think a reasonable skeptical person would at least be interested by this. What else could it be!?

Anyway lets hope for more footage like this. Great stuff AYR and thanks for sharing!

This is probably one of the best thermal images of a Yowie, Bigfoot, Sasquatch that has ever been recorded. Will it be enough to convince the sceptics? it doesn't really matter because we all know what it is.

if we associated this with a UFO encounter it would still fall in the third category visual confirmation of an animate object )

What we need is the fifth category in which there is bilateral contact with an entity. This can be through some audible form of communication, or by some form of mental/telepathic communication although preferably by a one on one encounter.

I know this has been achieved by some particularly adventurer, Dean Harrison himself, Yowie bait and this is what's required visual proof of a bilateral contact unfortunately we haven't been able to confirm it. Perhaps if we leave gifts although it is regarded as not a good idea especially with Bigfoot we may gain their confidence. The only one I know who has managed to gain their confidence is adventurer. A recorded video of contact is something entirely different though and I believe will never happen.
The human mind is only constrained by the barricades we build around it.

Congratulations on excellent work and research with this expedition.

You can clearly see the outline of the upper body and head are not human and the creatures are quite stocky and tall. With the one that bends down briefly you can see a side view of its head and its upper orbital brow ridge and even sagittal crest on the crown if its head. No doubt a male.

I wonder if it was bending down to pick something up or to drive another stick into the ground.

Very good evidence. At first i wondered if some of the smaller sticks had come down in heavy rainfall and stuck upright into wet soil only to later have fresh leaves and humus re pack around its base. But somehow i doubt this given the fresh evidence the following day.

Again excellent work!

It's good footage, no doubt about it. You all looked very pleased with yourselves on the trip, and so you should!

When I watched it the first time I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Very exciting footage. Well done!

Dean said "The experiment proved one thing. Everyone loves the 80’s," and i can't argue with that! :D

Still thinking and talking about this one, just magical.

Excellent work and the footage is very impressive.

I may have missed the answer elsewhere, but I was wondering if, since the recording, were size comparisons in the same location made using humans? If so, what's the estimated size of the animals?

Very nice work but to be honest I have mixed feelings about this... we knew it was coming with thermal cameras, but the implications may not be so great for the hairy ones. Have you thought through what happens when the evidence becomes undeniable?
