In all the reports i've read, I'd think it's mainly curiousity. Don't quote me on that.
There was one report from the states. A mother heard her daughter giggling at something. She walks outside, and not 5 feet away, there's a bigfoot staring at her daughter. The mother threw something at the bigfoot, and grabbed her daughter. The bigfoot screeched & ran into the bush.
Which brings me to think. Do you guys remember ages back when that kid was lost in the Blue Mountains? I think it was a kid anyway.. I wonder if he came across anything.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here.

There was the little girl who went missing last year with her dog. I think she was only 3yrs, probably too young to verbalise anything she may have seen or heard over night.Alex wrote:In all the reports i've read, I'd think it's mainly curiousity. Don't quote me on that.

Alex, I don't know if youv'e heard of this one or not, but report out of US., had mother seeing large BF, beckoning to her kid from the fence. What was interesting was that there have been other reports of beckoning from a BF, a hunter saw one beckoning to deer.....of course it might have been being friendly, but I wouldn't bet my kids on it! LOL!
I'm not fat.....I'm just fluffy

We used to find that by the next morning any goats or pigs we had shot the day before had been carried away , the quickest we notice anything gone was a kangarro that was taken from next to our car within 3 hours. deep valleys covered in black pine either side. Never found any drag marks around where the carcasses were so no chance it was foxes dragging them away. So i guess baits would work pretty well. always wanted to try finding a muddy or sandy area and leaving a carcass to see if we could get some prints but never got a chance.

dawn around my area if i could say, yowies are always watching the children. we know that their there. when i was younger i heard of a story my mum told me about an family who use to live in the bush near kempsay and there baby was in the back room the mother just put it down to bed and than the baby started screaming they ran in the room to find a big man at the window its hand all over the baby and grab it. they never found it because the police thought they killed it so, i dont know what to believe. it happen in the earlier 50's or something.

There's a report somewhere of a yowie stroking the side of a house where a baby was crying. I think it was around the Wentworth Falls area.

The weird thing is, i've spent a few days at Wentworth Falls, and not seen a thing. Hell, i've been all around that area, and, didn't see a thing. Just my luck.

Cats?! No! Bad yowies.
There was a hoax made a few years back of a "sasquatch" killing a kitten. Turns out it was just some mate in a suit. He was fined alot of money & is now sitting in jail (I think). I'd like to think he is anyway, sadistic ******.

Dear Matchmaker
On the subject of the fairer 200 kilo sex...
I've tried writing poetry and leaving it in the bush.
"Ode to your great hairy neck" Nothing...
I've left roses... composting... Nothing...
I've even tried not washing for a week... (well er I didn't have to try there)
Why wont they return my call?
Yours - Lonely in the Wilderness.

I wasnt thinking of match making when I mentioned attracting a female yowie.
I was thinking more in line with less aggression and not being torn limb from limb.
Folcrom.
PS. What are the pro-nouns for Male/Female Yowies.
Chickens are Cocks/Hens
Cattle are Bulls/Cows
Humans are Men/Women
etc etc
What about Yowies?
