The Sensing of Spirit Beings

1 - I would be interested to know what sensations people have had when they have become aware that they are near a spirit or ghost.

2 - I would be also interested to know if you have felt the same sensation if an Orb has been near.

3 - I would also love to hear if you have had any other strange sensations.

Hi Big Cats

I am clairsentient which assists me a great deal when I investigate. If a spirit is near me I get a tingling sensation around the crown of my head. I can also actually feel something circulating around me and in my head I keep thinking its ecto but I dont see it. I feel it. Its like little movements of air that is different from a breeze. If the spirit touches me I can feel it perfectly like a person. I get first a tingling sensation in the spot being touched and then it sort of vibrates and then I get the pressure feeling which I can only describe as if you had an air gun making pressure on your body. When they touch me for a long time that part of my body goes cold and when they do touch I can tell exactly what part is being touched, how and sometimes I get a mental picture of the spirit. If the spirit draws energy of me which they all will do at some time, I get this strange sucking or drawing sensation in my aura and if they draw too much like some not so nice spirits will do, it can make me light headed and if a spirit is close to me and is not nice, I can feel nauseous to the point that I have actually ran outside and vomited.Its not a nausea that comes from the pit of your stomach but more like one that comes from your throat. If a spirit is close sometimes I can feel their emotions. That is common with clairsentience. I can feel irritable or angry, feel like laughign or crying if the spirit is sad. The first time this happened to me I thought it was me and coudlnt work out what was going on and why i was suddenly feeling like bursting out laughing. I didnt realise that the spirit with us was amused by our antics.

Yes I have felt the sensation with an orb. I have even asked spirit to come into the photo wiht me and they do.

IN all those photos, I knew the spirit was there. They get close to your aura because they can hear what you think & feel you easier. When I say feel you Imean feel your energy.

I see orbs too a lot with my naked eye. I have seen them like comets moving along , seen them as blinking lights and also seen once a very bright sparkling light over someones shoulder, which was stationary for a few seconds and then vanished. That one was a special one. Not an earthbound spirit I think.

What other sensations do I get????............I have had the feeling of pressure on my head as I walked up stairs, I have felt the floor move like on a boat, I have had a strange sensation in my ear like a change in air pressure or a fluttering in my air. I can also hear spirit clairaudiently at times too but when i get this fluttering its almost like that isnt a telepathy thing, but more like a physical sensation of my ear drum trying to hear another frequency.

Usually one of the first abilities you will realise you have is clairsentience.

You are indeed a fortunate person and by the sounds of it very gifted.

How much more this must enrich your life and enable you to reach higher levels of thinking.

I like your analogy of a breeze. I use the same one. I say it is like a very slight warm breeze on your face on a warm day. It is almost undetectable and yet it is.

Tracey - Try this one. When you are in a crowded area, see if you can sense the energy fields of the people around you. Once you have done that then try and walk between the gaps. then let me know what you have experienced.

Have you ever tried to manipulate your Human Energy Field whilst looking at in the semi-darkness in the evening?

Not sure why you cant see the images. I click on them and they come up. I would be interested to see if anyone else can see them. They are on photobucket. Usually the images can be seen there when i post them.

I will try the things you mention. I can feel the energy from a healer like a reiki healer. If they come put their hand near me, i feel heat come from it. I have felt the aura of a teacher in a spiritual developement class come in contact with mine and we both felt like a sudden zap or something...almost like a shock. If my husband comes home from work in a bad mood, I feel the energy straight away and it makes me like that. That is probably empathy.

Not sure what you mean by in the semi darkness, manipulating energy. Do you mean seeing the aura expand and seen in the twilight?

I have expanded my aura one time in a developement class by visualisation and it was proved to be expanded by the use of divining rods. Everytime the rods came towards me and hit my aura, which was expanded in preparation for some exercises, they crossed. I am talking about 15' away from me. We did this outside in a grassy area and I was approached in all di rections. I found this very fascinating as I was told this happened because of the visualisation and making it real, but I actually got the proof of it to see.

sensing ghosts well this happens to be in my feild at the moment , ive been constructing some great electronic sensors for the job and are yet still experimenting with them and testing them out , and some are so sensitve they appear to sense the humen aura or e feild, but im confident ill get results from not just ghosts but ufos to so haveing all this sensor circuitry at my possesion would be really handy can anyone relate to that

I had acloser look at an early photo of myself recently and noticed that half of my ear and part of my face was missing . After closer inspection I realised , it looked like something was sitting on my shoulder . I don't know who else to ask . It's been bothering me ever since . I now feel like someone's tagging along with me . Would be interested in any comment's .

Hey big cats, haven't seen this post before or would have added my 2 cents worth. Haven't considered myself pyshic or any kind of ghost whisperer, but have seen a few in my life. When I was younger it would start with a tingling on the crown,usually followed by a shadow or a voice and in some rare cases full aparitions. Sometimes with the shadows around I would become depressed or nauseas. As I got older I blocked it out as a way of dealing with it. When I reached my early teens on uncle showed me how to use a ouja board. When ever anything happened I would get the tingling again. I ended up fighting off an attempted possesion which made me ill for a few days and never messed with the board again. Still kept getting the earlier described events,got scarred and dulled my senses to it as much as possible. It has only been in the last couple of years that I have been able to deal with it without fear. My wifes family have some cajun blood from Louisiana in the states and she was always watched over by her grandma. This kinda eased me into things and I would have regular conversations with grandma. Sometimes she would be a voice in my head, other times out loud. I could always feel her presence again as a tingling in my crown and after I got to know her there would be a feeling of reassurance. Grandma eventually moved because to use her words she was getting tired,did'nt want to scare the kids and wanted to find her husband again.
Not long ago my long dead uncle began to hang around. It started off at first like a feeling of being watched but gradually would get stronger. I had trouble making any kind of contact so I went to see a friend who channels spirts. She confirmed for me that it was my uncle and hmself and my grandma would be around from then on. They told me that my alcoholic father, who was estanged from us, was getting very sick and would die soon. Got used to the tingling crown thing. Some times get the sense that there is some one near by so i take a photo of the spot and usually get a mist a,shadow or an orb. Have got a couple of apparitons this way as well.

On one occassion while ghost hunting in the Blue Mountains we had a spirit try to push us out of a building. Got a sevre headache and a sore throat from that one.
