my other question is for the skeptics, it really puzzles me and also makes me feel sorry for you, obviously you dont have many interests or a life, i mean i hate afl footy and dont believe its a game of great skill but you dont see me on the afl forums questioning it and bagging the hell out of it.
each one to their own is my belief, i just tjink its a waste of time using all this negative energy when ya might wanna do something positive with ya life.
hey even most of us beleivers or fence sitters are skeptical of alot that is written here, but as i said have a bit of arjy barjy and then just have a laugh and let it go.
or better still find a chess forum and debate wether the pawn should be the new knight. at least you might do some good in the world.
Hello lil foot,
I'll happily respond to your post...
Why the fine detail in the monkey suit?
- The PG footage was shot in 1967.
- Camera technology WAS NOT poor during this 'ancient time'. Indeed films such as 2001: A Space Oddysey and Planet of the Apes were filmed/released in 1968. Both movies were of excellent audio and visual quality.
- The Apollo 11 mission landed on the moon in 1969 and sent crystal clear live video back from there (unless of course you subscribe to NASAS cover-up theory).
- So the assertion that film quality in 1968 is ridiculous. Therefore if you are going to hoax a bigfoot sighting then you need to have a high quality 'suit'.
- I would also suggest that a high quality suit is essential because the PG footage is ever so subtly out-of-focus. Which means a low quality suit, e.g. Sheepskin, horsehide is only going to lower the overall quality to a point where nobody believes you.
Regarding Skeptics:
- Don't feel sorry for us. I'm pretty sure most of us are quite happy.
- For myself, I have plenty of other interests in life... The point is that I am genuinely interested in the 'bigfoot/yowie/yeti' mystery and I am absolutely free and entitled to hold my opinion on it and speak my opinions. If this forum does not want to listen to my opinions then feel free to ban me.
- There is nothing 'negative' about my opinion. It is my opinion and I am voicing it. It is just as valid as your opinion until someone actually delivers proof that bigfoot/yowies/yeti exist. Something that has not occured in the last fifty or so years of contemporary yowie research. The best evidence available is still far from provable. Believe me, I would be happy as any believer if someone proved the existence of the yowie. Until then the evidence in the public domain is far too flimsy.
- If your comment about negativity is based on the excahnge between myself and Sticky above, then please go back and re-read it. That was an example of '
good natured banter between Sticky and myself.' I have nothing but respect for Sticky and regard him as a good friend. I hope he considers me in the same light.
- I have no interest whatsoever in chess otherwise I probably would join a chess forum and contribute to it. I find this remark childish and disingenuous. It adds nothing to the forum or the post in general. In fact, in my opinion it's borderline trolling (by this forums definition).
The simple fact is, Chewy put up a good post on the P-G footage and a reasonable set of response has been made. I'm entitled to add my response, which I did, which did not demean, ridicule or prod any other member of the forum. My position is every bit as valid as yours until someone proves the existence of the 'bigfoot/yowie/yeti/trans-dimensional orb-shifting biped'.
I hope that clears things up for you. If you would like to debate offline then please feel free to pm me or email me.
Kind regards
There's always someone cleverer than yourself. Always!
