Some evp and bits and pieces from Maitland Gaol

These are some others from the gaol that arent so clear. When I talk to the inmates, I try to talk like I would to anyone and touch on subjects of a pesonal nature or an emotional nature. We dont always get bad reactions but sometimes we do. Most of the time they are wanting to speak to us and they do answer ouir questions.

This was one time when I was trying for reactions. I asked "Those who would like to see their families, can you make a noise please" and there is a reply but it is very quiet. No one else was speaking in oiur group when I ask these questions. The answer from the spirit is something like "YOU CANT SEE THEM , CAN YOU?"

This is where I asked "Did any of you snore?" and got an answer "I DO/DID"
Its very soft and tried to amp it without destroying it but its there.

This was taken in the daytime in gaol when I went along with chris and her two children. The son says " is there anyone here?" and a male spirit answers "US" at the very end

Unfortunately we get a lot of evp we cant decipher because they are so soft or not clear. In this case the spirit was calling out from above and not close to us. He was reacting to my question thoiugh and have no idea what he said which is a shame.

I asked in this one "Do you like staying here?" and get the answer "NO" at the very end. I amped and slowed it a little in that part.

Everytime we go we get reactions from the inmates. Here we put a cigarette in the middle of the cell block and said "whoever makes the loudest noise gets the cigarette" and immediately we got a response that sounded like the railing was knocked on the next level up. We were all on the ground level

Another type of noise response we get. The noises arent from us and always in direct response to what i have asked.

Here is another noise response. This one frightened me as it was so loud and came from the cell across from me. It sounded like the door was kicked. None of us were over there. We were seated on the ground opposite.

I asked here for the spirit that had been making a bit of noise around us to come foreward adn tell us his name. He does but unfortunately I cant work out what he is saying.Kind of sounds like it starts with a 'B' like bob or something.

And to end this all off I just had to put this one in. Its a bit of our silly ghost investigating humour.

I was asking the spirits up the top to make a noise or drop something for us and another members pipes up with "not your guts" and I am afraid that cracked me up so bad I was giggling for ages after. No wonder those inmates remember us lollllll!

but i do beleive in ghost and u'd think if there is this many spirits in a place that equipped with a video camera with night mode u'd see some crazy sht.

Possibly..but..the problem is..you appear to be assuming that ghosts can be proven on ired night mode...
And... because there is no footage..there were no ghosts at the gaol....
It gets worse..
If someone believed in ghosts=ired footage..then where are all the videos of ghosts using ired mode...and I am talking ghost footage..not footage of orbs..
It aint looking good..

That is fair enough if you say you dont believe my evp.

I dont know where you have got the idea from that you cant hear ghosts. You can hear them in many ways, you can hear ghost voices audibly and from evp and you can hear the noises ghosts make. Footsteps are a classic example and I have heard these along with my group, and videod the sound around us. Ghosts bang doors, knock , whistle, talk, hum, make popping noises, cracks and lots of other things. In the past it has been noted that people state they hear moans, well i think a lot of the moans and growls people say they are hearing are actually voices but not heard properly.

We just dont do audio, we do visual, emf readings, temp, trigger objects etc but I specialise in evp. That is where my passion is. Also, we do capture evp on our video too which i have of the gaol also. When we get these evp, we just dont get voices. We get other stuff too and also personal experiences of being touched, cold spots, and lights.

If you are waiting around for apparitions on IR then you will be waiting a long time. You have to use everything together.

To think that you cant hear ghosts is being narrow minded, I assure you.

Here is an example of the last time we went to the gaol. There were 4 of us, 3 females and a 14 yo son of one of them. Everyone knows not to talk when questions are asked to the spirits and I am trying for evp. In this particular case, we were just having casual conversation when an etheral voice was heard. Its interesting because we had a few recorders going and on and what we heard sounds
different on the different recorders.

The recorders were placed in different areas.I was on one side of the cell block wiht mine on the ground and the other was on the other side of the cell block on the ground.. You can hear our voices and then you will hear something that isnt ours. My recorder is stereo and chris's is mono.

Now this is the video that was on when our recorders picked this up and you can hear that it came out on this as well. Its at 00:04. You can hear us remark on hearing it. It was none of the 4 of us. The 4 of us heard it though 2 said it sounded like a growl and 2 of us said it was a voice.. It is interesting how it sounds different on the 2 recorders but then that could have somethign to do with one recorder being a mono and the other a stereo and also where they were positioned and where the ghost was to us.

The very last time i went last month, I captured what i would say would come close to a Class A evp.
I was talking about screws and overseers casually and then decided to ask the spirits what the screws were like in there and reminding you that there was only 3 woman and a 14 yo present. The boy was right next to his mother and did not speak.

I ask what the screws were like and get the answer "really good"
At first we thought this was pretty good but i know now its "really good" I am thinking it is a screw that is answering me or a guard or official of some sort.

Also, just wanted to add that I find recording the evp far more satisfying than videoing. We video every time and photograph but I have found that recording evp is much more rewarding and gives me more insight into the type of spirit in the vicinity and teaches me a lot more. Lets face it, seeing something visually doesnt prove anything either. You can photoshop any photo and y ou can doctor any video.
