A Good Torch??

Unread post by Blue Gem »

Hi all,
After searching around at the possibilities, I am wandering your thoughts on a decent LED Torch?? I have looked at The LED LENSERS but hoping for a cheaper alternative. Can a decent light be Made at home? I was looking at around 500 to 900 lumens. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hey Blue Gem

You really can’t go past the LED Lensers I have the P14 it’s a great little torch. I know you said you didn’t want to spend that much but I don’t think you can compromise on quality; You could possibly make one from home but I’d hate to find it doesn’t work when you really need it the most.

Even if you put $10 away for 12 weeks, or $20 away for 6 you have yourself a torch and a good one at that.

But it’s totally up to you.

Cheers Dion,
Do you find the p14 to be of sufficient brightness & throw distance? The related reviews i could find rated it well, amongst others. as for saving! yes, i often get the "Impulse buy bug", (angel) (pure_evil) (one on each shoulder) specially when i see 900 lumens for $30.. do i wait...can i wait..patience Daniel son, yes Mr Miyagi (confused)
