Do dreams have any meaning? Are your dreams telling you something?
If we are to decifer a dream, is it about the overall theme.. or should we take all the little details into account?
Dreams often consist of many interrelated elements... all of which could mean something. The setting, the activity, the other people there etc.
For example.. what do we make of a dream that is set at a school you once attended, with people you know from somewhere else, where you are involved in an activity completely unrelated to school? Why that combination?

I dont think dream analysis books are at all useful as they tend to refer to just one symbolic element.. when any part of a dream could be of significance. You may dream about taking a trip. However some of the finer details could be making reference to people in your life, things you hold dear, concerns you have etc.
