Hey Searcher,i would have played a lot of games as we doubled up a lot to make up numbers in the higher age groups too. They started me off at 4 years old (!) and i dropped out for a year so 19 years really. .

Reinjured my knee and called it a day. Good thing too as like you say,it gets worse if you keep playing. Ive seen the frankentein scars down my nephews legs from 3 knee ops and not good. He should've quit after the first!

Thats awesome you played at MCG. Its every aussie rules players dream to make it to the big stage. I might even have your bubble gum card! Shame about shoulder though. Ouch!! I bet you were a flashy player. Winger or centre half forward i reckon!

I think we've all gone a bit overboard with the killer yowie stuff. Ive scared myself reading some of the things i and others have posted and reading about panthers and serial killers .

Its good to be cautious but more likely to get bitten by a snake or fall ass over down a hill like i nearly did today!

Im thinking binoculars from across a gorge or lookout is a safer bet....with the car nearby and running.

Hmmm, recovering from a knee replacement right now, and hope to get back into the bush, but seeing these I don't know if I really want to experience a yowie now . . .
Macquariedave

Flat walking is okay, but told to be careful descending anything steep for quite a while - replaced knees take waaaaay longer to get "normal" compared to hips (have had one of these done also). I fantasize seeing a yowie from my back porch overlooking the NP in the upper Lane Cove River (where it's just a creek) - just a pair of Swamp Wallabies once, which I thought was good enough.
macquariedave

Sounds like a nice place Dave. Who knows? You may catch a glimpse of the big guy while enjoying a beer on your back porch. Drink enough beers and you may see two! (eek)

It also has taken me years to bring the image this far, mainly because she hates talking about that night...making it hard to progress the work (but I respect her frame of mind). The guts of the image is the amalgam of homo heidelbergensis and a large male Orang. This pic I've never released before mainly because it was done only so that I had some idea of what she had seen. Please understand that I'm no digital artist...just a persistent bastard lol
Geez dunno how i missed this one. Good effort Paul if your out there. That looks bloody massive! Thanks for sharing it.

Here's a couple of unpublished pics from the Woronora River, taken on a Samsung phone. I'm not happy at all with the quality, however they are genuine.

Hey Paul. Thats amazing. Is the Woomera river pic the zoomed version of the long shot with the car? It looks huge. I nearly spit out my coffee! Thanks again for sharing your pics. (thumb)

G'day Paul. That middle photo with the Yowie on the far right is an impressive picture. Love the sunlight effect too! Have tried to enhance the face, but there's not much detail to be brought out. Keep up the good work.

Sorry, but I have to play Devil's Advocate and question this one...
Why does the light 'beam' pause, then continue again once it is past the 'creature'?
Was it too hard to photoshop it realistically at that point?

Yes, the quality is bad, which could explain the other artifacts I see when I blow the image up. And yes, I realise questioning the image is also questioning your integrity. In saying that, if your integrity is solid, I apologise.

Similar question Wolf's

Why can I see through the creature at Woronora River?

What are the circumstances around this pic?

Yes I thought the same.

Photoshop'd with transparency effect visible as the creature is inserted in a layer of its own.
Also the crop around the figure was poor and irregular.
The plant directly in front of the creature is more sharply in focus, especially the stems sticking up almost in it's face, so this seems erroneous as well.
some parts look a bit like the application of the blur tool.

Just my observations. Happy to be proven wrong though, as always. (thumb)

Looks great on phone. I can pick up the streak that Wolf mentioned. Paul has said in his post it is genuine.

Don't want to get into an " He's a bullshitter" thing but the image is what it is, and also why I said it was unpublished, its here only because, as the theme of the topic implies its an image I like. I'm not taking posters of cartoon images of hairyman (seen above) to issue nor questioning their integrity am I? No... I'm enjoying the forum in the spirit its intended and am not out to "bullshit" anyone.

Also this post is not meant to antagonize but rather to explain.

cheers and chill

Good point Paul. I guess its the term "genuine" in reference to the photo that caused the excitement.

I like this thread. Of course there's hardly any actual 100% "pictures of the big guy" for us to post but lots of witness sketches and likenesses that are worth sharing. I like this one with the bear. Not sure if its a suit or bigfoot but a great image.

The classic Aussie one is sketched by an artist as described by a witness i think. Its from way back and everyones probably seen it . I dont think its actually as silly as it seems.

Kudos on not getting aggravated and defensive (which would have only made me question your motives further anyway, as some wordsmith said once, "Methinks you doth protest too much" would have applied)

So, is it real or photoshopped?

Hi Paul,

I was wondering where the picture was taken, down the Woronora village end of the river
or up past the Needles into the catchment of the dam. I grew up in the area and we use to
call it the Wonny. We would roam the bush around Prince Edward Park, the foot bridge
and up to the Needles swimming hole.

You could walk on sections of the big silver water pipes coming from the dam feeding into
sou-west Sydney. That sandstone cave in the pic that the Yowie is sitting in front of
reminds me of the ones you would see in the area.

There’s been a few sightings west of Engadine and Heathcote. Still a wilderness area close
to Sydney. Always thought the bush was beautiful but eerie in places.
Especially from Menai across to Lucas Heights and the Heathcote road.
The area around the dam looks like Yowie country.

Sorry I can't upload screenshots or links, but if you search "bfgtv honobia bigfoot conference 2009" on YouTube, a forensic sketch artist shows his drawings from eye witness testimonies.

The first sasquatch picture begins at 32 minutes in.
