I'm a bit confused as to peoples perseption of 'gliding'. Is it somewhat like a forward motion Michael Jackson moonwalk in that there is no bobing up or down or are people thinking Levitation.Rusty2 wrote:" it was like it glided across the road"DaveR wrote:floating across the road in two steps.

mine is when the body is level--going straight across with absolutely no bopping at all. Its quite amazing to watch. I saw the head extremely level, i did not see the feet how far exactly they were off the ground. But the body, head was extremely straight lined. No up down movement at all.

Re: A few new Reports
It's good that we're hearing it from a recent witness .
They really are doing it , I don't know how , they shouldn't even be here , there time has come and gone , it's no wonder the scientific community can't get their head around it .
Much better audio quality , did Paul get himself a new recorder ?

Goonerah Report
Was the Report made in 2016 or the encounter?
What month was the encounter? 10pm and had his driver’s window open suggests a warmer season

Re: A few new Reports
The latest two reports (#106 and #107) are interesting.
The Mandurah report was amazing and really displays how athletic these creatures are in comparison to us. It must have been a frightening experience to go from thinking you're about to run over a pedestrian one second to seeing...well, that.
And #107 is interesting. There's no such thing as a 'standard' sighting, but this one sort of has all the 'classic' elements.
I'm continually impressed by the standard of the questions asked, and the way the interviewers manage to get people to think about what they saw and describe it, rather than actually prompting them outright to say a particular thing.

Re: A few new Reports
Yeah i dunno Simon. Theyre a bit ordinary. I suppose they cant all have dissapearing or ultra sound .
These reports from cars are mounting up. Im sure a drive down one of these highways with cameras on the car would eventually yield results. They dont seem to be too wary if theyre running out in front of people.
Truckies would have a great view from up in the cabin.

I've noticed that as well - with the advent of dash-cams in most newer cars, it's only a matter of time before something is caught on video and ends up all over the internet; for better or worse.

Re: A few new Reports
All the reports are sobering, often scary, sometimes evoking in me a very strong response of understanding, compassion and sympathy for the emotions they are clearly going through to make these reports. I'm so pleased that Dean and AYR gives people like this witness a place to talk and share without fear or judgement, especially when they are probably doubting themselves and their physical faculties after the event has passed.
There is only one thing I found anomalous in this report and that was the fact that it was night time, 10pm, and the driver had good vision in front of the vehicle due to having his driving lights on high beam. How did he see the creature in his rear vision mirror? His Hilux was stopped at that point, and he said he saw it coming back at him. Having bright light in front of you can mean you are 'night blind' when looking at darkness, until your eyes become accustomed to light levels. Maybe he could see it by the red glow of his brake lights, something that is totally possible, I just thought it odd. Perhaps it was also a relatively well lit moonlight night...?
In any case, this poor guy has clearly had a massive paradigm shift about the main risk of night driving being the condition of the road, and I seriously feel for him after this experience.
Great report, as usual.

Thats a good observation. I think the answer to this question is that brake lights have a very good ability to light up the rear also especially if someone has their foot on the brake pedal. I've found that even when in the early morning when going to work that when I reverse then brake to shift to go forward, the house across the road is completely illuminated to the point where I sometimes think the neighbours might complain - even if it is just for a few moments. The tail lights by themselves are quite weak but the brake light is a different story.
There are quite a few stories here and abroad where the brake lights create enough illumination for the rear of the car to be lit up quite well - even if its with a red glow and the creature is seen.

Thanks for adding the logical progression
