Gday Yb , yep the skink hung around for about 3 days , at least I think it was the same one , kept setting the camera off
I also got my usual shots of wallabies an owl came in at night for a nice little video and a bloody big spider to top it off .
Nothing of the big hairy type tho

At least your capturing something there Greg. Always a bonus to see what wildlife is around.

That spider sounds big and hairy!

Yeh mate , I know my chances of ' the pic ' on trail cam are extremely slim but I do love just seeing all the critters out there .
Ive had dingoes , deer , wallabies , feral cats , roos pretty much everything except pigs and the big guy / girl
Cheers Greg

Now that's cool! Getting close to Lace Monitors and Goannas is always risky, either because of the whip from the tail they are happy to give your legs, or in case they run up your body thinking you're a tree. That is a quality capture!

OK, very cool photos! I wouldn't get that close, but you could be using a long lens for safety, either way, that Death Adder is gorgeous!

Yeah Shazz theryre beautiful but freaky birds. Closest ive ever gotten to one not in a zoo. Theyre right next to a train track. Dead Maggie nearby as well?

I often see them now around bris. There was a pair nesting on a thin forested traffic island at one of those ghastly new estates out at mogill. Barely two metres wide with a busy road each side. Probably too stubborn to move from the usual nesting place!!

Didnt have to go far for this one. Just up the road a bit. Apparently its a" White Headed Pidgeon". A bunch of them have taken up residence in someones yard.

Wow, they are unusual to see in suburbia! Quite large birds, too, and very neat looking!
