The second clip looks good, but there is a clear edit cut after the animal / deer leaves the area. Then for some reason the cameraperson swings the camera back to the spot where the deer was. WHY??? Then there is a clear edit cut and shortly afterwards the black thing appears and a snorting sound can be heard.
If the clip had no breaks I would have though it to be good, but the edit break immediately destroys its value as evidence.
after seeing some of the c**p on youtoob,i am really sceptical as to the authenticity of these.
personally the one with the deer and the breaks in footage looks like a mate in a gorilla suit.
the other , i like but had no sound.had good long arms,no obvious neck.....not covinced but i feel this one is better.
I dont know how, but when I hit 'quote" or something and then posted I stuffed up and removed the original post by Alec somehow..sorry..
other than the usual blurry c**p, the first hint the thing is fake is the halfwit who posted it stated clearly at the start that he shoots in 16mm and 35mm.
The footage shot does not look like film.
But it looks like dv footage.
Plus with the expense of 16mm+35mm film no one would just wave their camera at nothing much, as they would with a video camera.
Answer=Shot on a video camera+gorilla suit aka (tim the yowie man) suit.
The second clip, gorilla suit aka (tim the yowie man) suit.
Plus, the audio track appears to have been manipulated and an extra track wacked on...
Someone already mentioned it - that second clip (trust me, there was a second clip in Alex's post - Good 1 ozestrange! ) does have at least one clear edit after the deer trots off & before the drunken pig snorting bloke in gorilla outfit ambles past.
