Hi Rusty,

What do you think the object is?

I see a tarted up balloon. The bobbing in the wind movement strongly suggests that. Certainly no zipping in or out of frame at warp speed. That would take a bit more explaining!

A balloon like that would not be hard to make. I've been building model aircraft of many types most of my life... Still have a garage full. I took a still of the best frame and zoomed in to the limits and I see some balsa rods cyanoed to the top, bottom and side and a full row of black rectangles all around (either black paint or black trim film) to resemble windows.

I also imagine a group of young men standing not far away looking very pleased with their efforts of creating a very good practical joke. :D

Just my opinion.

I don't think it's a balloon .
Have a look at the small video below (Closeup mp4). I'd like to see anyone recreate the precise roll movements this thing is doing with fishing line , it's too precise .

Hi again Rusty,

Thanks for posting the MPEG 4. It’s the part I would have selected too. I still think the movements are what you would expect to see from a balloon with swivel connectors. Interesting to read through the 467 (to date) viewer comments on YouTube. Lot’s of different opinions, as you would expect. The clip was posted only a couple of weeks ago and has almost 60k views.

What we don’t hear about is what happened afterwards. I doubt very much if there was this strange ‘UFO” type craft hovering in the nearby daylight sky you would just walk inside and have dinner. No… most people would not take their eyes off it and wait for the air force jets and choppers to arrive. Someone must have seen it either take off at speed or be reeled in if it were a tethered balloon. That’s a crucial part missing from this report.

I’d like to know what bassplyr thinks of this. I’ll wager he believes the object was constructed here on planet Earth. :)

Gday Rusty and Searcher

I would wager its made on this planet too, also it looks clumsily built with antenna and all. Just my take. I have seen pure silver oval shaped craft before with no windows or doors, nothing like this however. Seems that whoever made it has a bit of intelligence in making things but not that great.

Also where's the rest of the footage of it disappearing or moving on? Seems staged, always worth discussion though.

Okay , fair enough . I don't think it's alien either but I'd like to see someone reconstruct it like they did on "fact or faked" . :D
