If you go to missing 411's official youtube channel, go through not only the video but all comments under. You will see lots of comments about some personal experiences that are scary enough but didn't make into a missing case.

The whole missing 411 info basically suggests that something high intelligence AND sinister made those happened. From those valuable comments, you will learn it is either evil aliens or evil spirits (by Shaman's words) or maybe the two are pretty much the same thing.

An example here, we all know the eerie quest experience. My initial understanding was, bigfoot/yowie shut crickets up. However, one of the story from the comment section, a policeman said when there was eerie quiet around him, he could NOT hear any sound from the river when he stood in a river. No I don't have personal experience, just read a bit. From what I read, I cannot reconcile myself from what I read to draw a logical conclusion.

Here are some points to support "pro-spirit" theory:
1. vanishing happened around the world not just bigfoot area. Some countries, Germany or UK have people vanished too.
2. engaging a shaman actually worked/helped. So shamans played a part, and they believe it's an evil spirit.

as for pro-evil alien theory:
1. it seems many characters of evil aliens can be found in two movies, Predator and Cowboys vs Aliens. aka
2. predator like "things" moving in the wood have been spotted by many;
3. glowing orbs have been spotted in the wood by many;
4. the glowing orbs can freeze some people but not all. a witness report saying three hunters group wralking in the national park, when orbs showed up, two froze, one didn't.
5. the super quiet incidence was way too quiet. some witness said he couldn't hear the stream even standing in the stream; at the same time, he cannot see any of his friends at a spot while his friends claim they were there all the time.

So my belief now is vanishing people have something more to do with other than bigfoot. But what it is, I don't know.

Sure there are a few odd cases but the majority of the cases he puts in the books are either almost entirely explainable by mundane things or are factually incorrect for example he lists multiple cases of missing people claiming they are gone, but they were found soon after, and simply were lost in the woods for a while.

After looking into it I concluded David Paulides is essentially presenting a skewed narrative to sell his product and he is not trust worthy, in fact he is nothing but a grifter.

His books are the opposite of well researched to put it simply.

These anomalies of the bushland going eerily quiet are linked to Bigfoot/Yowie. Birds stop chirping, crickets, cicadas stop singing as if you are in a complete vacuum virtually a place completely devoid of outside influences (alternative space) and the most puzzling of all strong winds completely subside a supernatural occurrence if there ever was one.

Now there is only one entity that can control the winds that I know of or maybe two one with ulterior motives.

This was the scenario described by William Tyrrell's (if I'm allowed to say his name) grandmother when she came out of the house to look for him upon his disappearance. She noticed the complete quiet of the surrounding bush and the fact the wind had gone. With all the confusion and desperation in her mind, this must have been a very powerful event happening for her to take notice.

I can't comment on the validity of David Paulides books read excerpts but not an entire edition basically he is a cryptozoologist investigator out to sell books like every other author but it doesn't exempt the fact there are more than a few odd cases where people have gone missing in US National Forests some virtually in eye view of groups of people. There are many National Parks in the US now warning people to keep in close contact and not to wander off on their own.

I'm a fan of the late Ufologist John Keel another journalist out to sell books a big difference between Keel and Paulides is the former had hands-on experience and another reason I'm a great believer in some of his theories is because that they coincide with my own.
