So we have a farm, years ago my grandad had seen a yowie on it. The farm backs onto a large rainforest which has a rocky creak we walk up sometimes, this time walking up it we had been further then ever before after hours of walking, we had to stop due to alot of stinging trees everywhere. We took a break before turning back. I was there with 3 other people and we all heard the noise when we were on our break . It was a like ooooar sorta noise which wasnt like any animal i heard before, like i sharp high pitch precise sound. Its hard to explain it sounded super close and not overly loud but super projected and clear. Then something was running around just meters from us behind me, when we turned around to look it stopped and none of us could see anything then we turned bavk around again, and it started running around again but when we looked nothing was there. After that we all walked and looked around abit and couldn’t see anything but whatever it was wasnt small and definitely wasnt a kangaroo beacuse it sounded like running. We went home after that and none of us have been back there since. Do you think it was a yowie or something else?
My uncle and dad had also been on the farm when they were younger and saw a large cabbage palm being shaken around up one of the mountains surrounding the property. They said something would have to be crazy strong to shake that sorta tree.
Weird noise in bush, yowie?

I have interviewed some people talk of these beings that chase them out of the wild. One ex soldier said it shook trees back and forth that would have needed superman like strength to do that. I also record voices that don't sound normal when out in the wild. Can't identify with any animal 'known'.

That’s interesting i wonder if yowies shake trees to maybe get seeds or leaves to eat? Or maybe as a warning to anyone nearby?
Yeah, the sound wasn’t recognisable as any Australian animal any of us had heard very strange.

At about 1.56 the high pitch noise is what we heard.
