Hi everyone I notice the AYR guys usually are wearing gaiters I assume to protect from Snake bites, ive never seen them before in my area but seem a good idea for out bush anywhere in Australia.
Ive finished work now and got a payout so looking at doing some travel, hiking and research now ive got some time (already have a good Thermal) so wondering if anyone's got some recommendations for good hiking shoes/boots and Gaiters?

I am not sure if you have gotten yourself some gaitors yet. I bought 2 pair of gaitors from a company in Victoria< Moroka 30. They sell snake proof gaitors. My Wife and I use them when we go bush prospecting for gold. They are not cheap, but what value do you put on your life?
