Hi everyone, I'm new here. That's an unusual image. Will there be tests done on the hair samples and is there anyway to enlarge and enhance that picture? In my research over time, I've noticed the yowie on that side of the world tends to be more hostile towards humans than the primate here in N. America.

I was reading this the other day and noticed links to the 2 actual stills, shot 1 second apart:

Thats right they were taken a second apart.
I still have one other picture that I haven't put on the net it was taken 4 minutes after these 2 and shows an animal about 6ft in height in 4x4 mode, I'm hanging onto that one until I decide what I want to do with it.

Hi Paul (?) - nice pics. Fair enough about holding onto your third pic, but I was wondering if you have one of the same scene without the animal you could post so we can compare? Also, you obv. know the area well - what's your estimate for height?

I initially estimated the animal to be around the 4 ft mark but I have checked and checked and I believe that it is quite a bit smaller tha first estimated, could possibly be between 2'6'' and 3ft.
So I am suggesting that this is a juvenile and the 3rd picture I have is either one of the parents.

So... any thoughts on what you're doing with the 3rd pic? Is it any closer to the camera?

The picture is slightly closer and the animal is considerably bigger. Just not sure which way to go with this other picture. There doesn't appear to be much interest here in Australia, we have a lot of skeptics here and I thought these first 2 pictures may have got some people talking, they certainly have in the USA.

Thank you 'Yowie Researcher' for sharing this fantastic photo with the Forum.yowie Research wrote:The picture is slightly closer and the animal is considerably bigger. we are always interested and appreciating, in all efforts made by our members and supporters alike.
Here At the Australian Yowie Research headquarters you may find that a majority of the team body are more about the education and preservation concerning the Australian Yowie rather then exposing,
based on this sort of respect
the heart and core of our research teams are often rewarded with much unspoken first hand knowlage and privileges that surpass basic understanding and expectations.
And so something they have learnt about the 'great Australian bush' can be at times an approch that some of our dedicated and respected members also apply here. this is.... "That often the best sound is no sound at all'
so please share away,
thats what the forum is all about.

Seconded Cass, I've cast my vote..
Paul, I also wouldn't mind a gander at a pic without either creature in as well for comparison if you've got one.
