You may have heard this before but its worth listening to again. The man in the recording sounds like he could take care of himself but his fear in this situation comes across as very real.

It cracks me up every time I hear it cause you can actually hear a bit a bemusement in the guys voice at the end.

caller: "That son-of-a-bitch is about 6 foot 9... I don't know.
operator: "Do you see him now sir?"
caller: "Yes, I'm looking right at him!"
operator: "Uh-oh. OK, hang on. Is he in your yard, sir?"
caller: "Yeah. God, he's big!"
operator: "OK, what's he doing in your yard?"
caller: "He's looking at me!"
operator: "And the guy is on foot? This..."
caller: "I don't know what... It's a real big person. That's all I can say.
operator: "OK, but it is a person?"
caller: "Uh, um, yeah, I'd say it was a person, or somebody really big. But he's all in black."
operator: "Is he a black male or a white male? Did you actually see? Or was he just wearing black?"
caller: "He's all black and he's big. He is big!"

Apparently that guy had called 911 a couple of weeks earlier after a similar incident which is why the operator asks him if it was a person.

He was worried that if he said "Bigfoot" they would not take him seriously and investigate.

He sounds pretty genuine to me.

He really did seem scared and I do agree iwanttobelieve that he would have loved to have said Bigfoot, but was worried that he would not be taken seriously.
