No worries. Yeah I don't like hearing about animals being hurt either.
What I find interesting is that theirs seem to look native to them ie - native american or mexican while ours seem to look more aboriginal - from what I've heard anyway

I thought they looked native american and mexican too. It would make sense i guess that they would look similar to other indigenous hominids of the same part of the world?

Many North American reports describe them as looking sort of like 1st nations people.
And yes, Yowies seem to be Origine in appearance while the Almasty appear asiatic.
Many have theorised that this lends credence to the theory of interbreeding with the locals from different regions of the world.
I actually believe it is possible this theory is off 180 degrees.
My concept is the locals of any given area DID interbreed with the already existing relic hominids of their particular region but said hominids DID not inherit the facial characteristics of the human population... the human population inherited the facial characteristics of the local hominid population.
In other words, modern humans are 'out of Africa'. As we spread throughout the world (relatively recently compared to the ancient hominids) we interbred and inherited the look of the hominids in the areas we moved into...
Northern Europeans inherited paler skin tones, red or yellow hair, taller stature, etc from the hominids who had adapted to the cold north. (It is a scientific fact that animals are larger versions of their species the further north they live)
First Nations people inherited the cheek bones, redder skin tones etc from the hominids who had adapted to the American continent.
Origines inherited the darker skin, heavy brows, wider noses, etc from the Australasian Hominids.
Asians inherited the smaller stature, lack of lower eyelids and skin tones from the Asiatic Hominids.
Bear in mind that the earlier hominids had millions of years to adapt to their particular environments, allowing for more time to speciate into such variety. 'Modern humans' have had relatively very limited time to adapt into the great variety they express today.

Even aborigionals describe yowies as the "old ones" and I've heard somewhere that they even copied the technique of marking their waterholes and beehives with specific stick structures from the yowies.
If you want to believe the "yeti hybrid" video on YouTube it seems that we can interbreed with them, like horses and donkeys or lions and tigers.
You seem pretty well-read on the topic, wolf. Are there any other specific sources of your info or are you like I am and get little gems everywhere and just piece them together yourself?

Yep, just putting the jigsaw together as best I can.
I am lucky to have a job where I can listen to many hours of encounters from sources like Bigfoot Outlaws, Sasquatch Chronicles and Vic Cundiff's shows.

Yeah they look a bit like an aboriginal or papau new guinea tribesman but still much different than any human out there.
Id sooner listen to Wolf and Huxleys theories over the bogus scientific community.

Uncle Scrooge encounters an Abominabubble Snowman in 'The Lost Crown Of Ghenghis Khan'... he ends up trading an old watch for a fabulously bejewelled crown because the hairy fellow likes the sound of it ticking.
TinTin also comes across one after it 'rescues' an asian friend. The flash from a camera scares it away, which is accurate as their eyes are very sensitive.

From memory, the last panel is the ducks running away and Scrooge saying, "I want to be as far away as possible when that watch runs out"... classic Carl Barks, by far the best duck artist ever.

He retired from the ducks in 1960's. Known as 'The Duck Man' Barks literally created Uncle Scrooge, The Beagle Boys, Gladstone Gander, etc. His retirement was spent painting oils of Scrooge and his adventures.
His ducks explored space, the inner earth, Atlantis, The Andes, literally every corner on earth, battling their wits against ancient gods, dragons, witches, aliens, hidden races of 'people', but aside from the Yeti in the comic mentioned above, Barks never did a Bigfoot story.
... That I know of, and I seriously doubt there is a Barks story that exists I have not read, although I literally dream of finding one now and then, only to wake up very disappointed...

He sure created a lot of great characters. They were the real good disney comics. Just been reading about him and ended up on ebay. A lot of it has been reissued which is good to see but the unsigned originals are a fair price.
I think this might be a witness recreation sketch .
