If you are talking about this little gem,
Gen 3 Alpha Monocular,
these are military grade products that are not easily available to the public in Australia. Even though they are not current latest technology under development they are still licensed under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and will require appropriate export licenses.
Best to try an Australian or European product if you are looking for this level of performance with NVIS. You avoid the Export Control hassles.
The price won't be any less though.
I have seen Gen 2+ monoculars that were purchase overseas for a pretty penny, that are more powerful than the Gen 3 Select Alpha that I had. The exporters get around the Gen 3 restrictions by labeling Gen 2+ instead. They paid something like the equivalent of $5500 US, at the time. But it's worth it.

In the book "How to Photograph the Paranormal" by Leonore Sweet, an orb can sometimes be captured on photograph in the same room that a person has just died in, before it heads out on their various missions.
Watched a Finding Bigfoot episode the other night where the BFRO team were on the Klamath reservation in South Oregon at the foot of MT Yamsay an area conducive to unexplained events. Bobo and Ranae were perplexed at the sudden appearance of two green orbs in the sky in front of them. No Bigfoot sighting but proof that these orbs exist and may be associated with Bigfoot.

Just an addition to my previous post when the BFRO team where witnessing the green orbs apparently the cameras could not pick them up. So if there is a correlation between orb/bigfoot transition this is probably the reason why they can be invisible on thermal imagers showing themselves only when they desire. Many times in so-called bigfoot hotspots across the US where sightings have been prevalent Sasquatch fail to show up on the thermal imager. I've always thought that they are there but in invisible form.

Orbs can show up on standard flash cameras and trail cameras because they reflect the flash back to the camera. Orbs can show up using IR or a Red light, when a Night Vision device of high quality is used. The Thermal Imager does not send out any light and detects heat. So there is no white or red light for the green back in the way of heat. And they apparently don't have any significant heat levels of their own, based on what you describe.
