I went through the adult with baby frame by frame. The mouth opens and moves naturally as the creature realises it hasa camera pointed right at it, pauses as if trying to decide whether to stay still or run... decides to run. If you look at the mouth when it opens it is too far from where a human head would be in a suit to be so flexible without pretty damned good animatronics built into the head piece.

Here is the original, followed by the same image with the image's levels adjusted. You can clearly see the open mouth, a high, almost gorilla-like nose, and even a furrow line on the brow...
I can see the mouth there. Its odd how she holds the baby too. It would be hard (and dangerous) to run with a baby out front like that..unless its a doll of course! Please no one attempt to recreate this with your own kid!!

The video is quite realistic. Well done hoax if it is. What a hassle to have to collect your baby and take the bolt when out doing your daily bussiness. Im suprised more dont go after the camera like the celebs with the papparazzi. "Gimme that camera. Ill shove it up your behind. We just want to be left alone!" I wonder if they think the cameras are guns?

...come to think of it,
That Skunk Ape is one ugly fella!! Seriously, only a face a mother could love. I tried looking at it from different angles and nup!! I think the other images of Bigfoot and relatives look a little more pleasing to the eye than this guy....which I guess points out there is certainly some variations in these species...

Whats interesting is the canines at the front....and it looks seriously pi$$ed off ( understandably )

Yeah i dont know what to think. So many variations in all the different photos. Those front canines look very real if a suit.

I would say that the yowie is the ugliest creature i have ever seen. It looked like its face had been hacked up with a machete and scarred over. Add the disgusting toxic stink ,bad temper, red eyes, teeth etc and you have a very undesirable creature. Its a wonder any of us want to have anything to do with them. They may think the same of us of course!

This pic when lightning strikes is pretty much what my mate and i saw when the thing first appeared and roared at us except branch(which he ripped off and threw to the ground!) over face was much thicker and sillohetted instead of lightning.

There is a lot of witness sketches very similar to this. Its uncanny how similar some of these encounters are.

I did laugh when I saw that GIF....thats straight out of a Scooby Do scene.

The facial configurations seem to vary quite a lot.
Compare the Skunkape with the Bigfoot from the Patterson footage. Your looking at 2 almost entirely different looking creatures! Humans I know have variations between regions of the world but nothing like this!!!

I would not know where to start....

There are at minimum four different 'types' in the US...
Type 1 = Patty, square teeth, conical head
Type 2 = Genowskwa, rounder head and canines
Type 3 = Gugwe, see 'Beast of Seven Chutes', baboon-like snout. Some think this is mistakenly identified as the Dogman, though many who claim to have seen a 'true' Dogman say they are definitely canids, NOT primates.
Type 4 = 'Little people', hardly any info on them. I suspect they are like our own little blokes

Yeah its a nice little gif. If i could draw and make animated gifs then i could reinact the whole thing for you Chris.

Some creepy organ music at the start and possibly benny hill theme or a josie and the pussycats tune for the chase scene. I would use chariots of fire at the end for the home stretch.

From memory the scooby gang encountered the abominal snowman AND bigfoot. Both were exposed as hoaxes (probably by fred) after much running in circles and shenanigans. If only it were that easy!

It's supposed to carrying a white dog. One was reported missing nearby apparently.

Yeah it does looks like its got something white under it's arm. Clearly a baboonish snout there.

This is an interesting photo. This figure from a camcorder checking out a campsite while few campers are sound asleep nearby.

Its the extreme expeditions camcorder bigfoot . There's is a lot of breakdowns on it. Most info on the bigfoot evidence blogspot. The other one i saw could have been from extreme expeditions website.

Its caused a bit of controversy when it came out apparently! Found this nasty fella on there too.

Thats a freindly one. Looks a mix of human and ape. Orangutanish!

Ive been looking at these supposed skunk apes. Theyre all so different but similar with the hairless face.

The second one down is similar to the lismore yowie drawing posted here already.

Those last few images are pretty intense.

The head placed on the shoulder description is one of the most prominent around I reckon.

Yeah they have to turn their bodies to look at you if side on. Makes sense. No neck or very short one!

The no neck thing seems to be a common description of our Yowie in Australia and I was wondering if in the states
it is similar, with their bigfoot descriptions.
I get the feeling, for what I know, that it’s more common in oz. In many reports I’ve heard and read about,
the witness doesn’t get too far into the description before they say……Oh, and it looked like it had no neck.

If they are flesh and blood animals, they would have evolved like everything else, so what evolutionary function
would a short neck or no neck serve ? It would seem too easy to blame it on in-breeding.

Yb. you said the Yowie has to turn their body to look at you, wouldn’t this be a liability in the bush,
even make active listening more difficult.

I’ve noticed with roos, if they have to turn their heads too far for vision, they will look back at the ground,
prop themselves on their tail to turn, then look back at what their targeting visually.
They can’t seem to look and turn their whole body at the same time. (with legs like that, who could).
This may be the same with the Yowie.
We all know that roo’s have excellent hearing, their ears can almost turn completely around independently of each other,
like what a bird can do with its head.

I know a Yowie is a lot different to a roo, but for the Yowie, what’s the use of having two little holes for ears
and a nut that’s shoved down into the torso.

Hi Tuckeroo.

Funny you should mention the no neck thing. I was just revisiting Dean's interviews with Geoff Nelson and noted that he (Geoff) mentions the no neck thing too. They're excellent descriptive accounts of the yowie including 4 different face and hair colour variations seen on his property alone!

I've always thought the no neck thing was rubbish but cant say i saw a neck on it and dont remember it being a real talking point with my mate who saw it too.

I say it had to turn too look as while it was running beside us it turned its body towards us to snarl and look at us or whatever it was doing.

It also stopped moving its arms when it turned also and looked like it was prowling . This was when it was a distance away near the treeline. It didnt turn its body to look when closer too us but just its head.

At one stage when it was running straight up and not really hunched much,i am sure i saw it stretch its head out as if it had a neck so always assumed it at least had a short neck.

It seems odd that such a dangerous predator and master of the bush doesnt even have a neck to properly look around with. I cant see any evolutionary purpose it would serve to have no neck.

I didnt see any ears either!

They have necks. It is just that the trapezoid muscles are very developed, giving them a lot of upper body strength and adding to jaw strength as well.
Look at a gorilla. They are always chewing on foliage and need very strong neck and jaw muscles to do so.

Thats one hell of photo and Gorilla you've got there Wolf, If they were chewing on meat that trapezoid effect may be more pronounced.
All that incredible muscle and those tiny little ears, if you could call them that.

Yes, good point, and I've seen this same observation made on USA sites . Travelling further down, is male genitalia ever sighted?
