I have been laying low for quite a while Welly
But what a sweet return to see that you have had personal success!!
I know due to our previous conversations that it was only a matter of time for this event to take place and frankly it surprises me that it is has not happened prior to this !!
It just goes to show how persistently stealthy they are !!
Well done Welly !!
IF YOU DO NOT LOOK YOU WILL NOT SEE

How will this sighting change things for you, Wellmon? Now that the researcher has becomes the witness......

Congratulations, your sighting, like the thousands that have come before yours, further highlights one outstanding common feature:

Your sighting is as every sighting always tend to be - Anecdotal.

Thanks heaps Scarts.

I was waiting, well should I say, I knew you would say it like that.

"Anecdotal"

Thanks Rusty and Al,

Yeah Rusty, haha finally I've realised, I'm not CRAZY.(thumb up)

Hopefully Al, in the coming weeks, we can get something solid, from some experienced help on my side.

Hey Welly, can you have a look around at the local bush food.
What's 'in season' around your place right now?

Do you have lots of ferns? Have a look and see if they have been pulled up and the bulbs off the roots eaten please.
And where is the nearest water supply?
Check it for tracks.

Do you know your neighbours?
Well enough to ask them if they have experienced something strange around their places? LIke missing dog food?

You're welcome, Wellmon! (happy) It's important to keep things in perspective!

If your sighting wasn't anecdotal, you could offer objective proof to the world of what you say you saw, and that isn't allowed.

Uumm good question Scartmon.
A couple of weeks have rolled by, followed by a handful of intense interactions, where both of us have had mixed emotions. Happy ones, relieved ones, great, questionable, intense ones, but all of them discussed between us.

All along, I was a believer, I wouldn't really call myself, a researcher!

We believe that the "Hairy Ones" came too us, we have never gone to them. Maybe the land we live on has Aboriginal Ancestry Elements. Perhaps now, that we have become at one with our bushland and have only just woken up so to speak. We both are starting to witness these spoken of "elements".

We accept them, big and small and have acknowledged the "elements."
I suppose we could call ourselves very lucky, as I realise, many a folk will never experience this in their live time.

Continuing our journey here, by being aware and treading lightly.
Scarts wrote:It's important to keep things in perspective! , you could offer objective proof to the world of what you say you saw, and that isn't allowed.
Objective proof, was a description of the "Hairy One", given in my first, which is similar to the thousands of witnesses before myself.
It is allowed (thumb up)

Food source, would range from a variety of Australian native flora and fauna, I suspect.
Probably some scraps around the neighbourhood.
We have noticed around this area in the last 9 months, a vast number of, missing dog signs and not dog food, pinned on lampposts.
As well as 3 missing sheep.

Lots of the small ferns around the house, where the small "elements" have been roaming and hiding.

I was a little frustrated the other night, from so many nights in a row, hearing them crawling around so close.
I lobbed a tiny pebble, from a nearby pot plant, off the 5m high verandah, into the bush.
My girl tuned me for doing it :o

Came back an hour later, sitting on the verandah and sure enough, a pebble of similar size landed next to me.
Lucky it was not a football size pebble. (scared)

As for the neighbours, the only open minds around ,are their dogs (security), which give us good warning when
the "Hairy Ones" around.

Wellmon, strive to differentiate between objective and subjective proof. Your observations are subjective because you can only share them by describing them. When I said objective proof isn't allowed, I meant the yowie won't allow you to get objective proof.

You say a pebble of similar size landed next to you later on in the night. How did you arrive at this conclusion?

Sounds like theyre getting well fed! I wonder how the gaurd dogs will go if the hairy men have enough of the barking giving them away?

That must be annoyng having them creeping around like that. Maybe lob a tennis ball next time, they might be up for a game of catch!

Any updates much appreciated Wellymon. Its great to be able to hear about your interactions with the hairys. (thumb)

Or a cricket ball... nah scratch that.
Geeze, imagine a Yowie as a pace bowler... Even if you hit the ball square it would probably rip the bat out of your hand.

I do like the idea of the tennis ball though... mark it by drawing lines around it or something, then throw it at where you think one might be hiding and see if it comes back. It might take a while as their curiosity might entice them to keep it for a while. Hell, they might even toss a possum back as a gift.

Have you got scrub turkeys around? Any nearby nests? Check them for signs of digging.
And how far is the nearest water supply (not someone's pool... i doubt they would appreciate the taste of chlorine)? Have you chekced it for tracks? They have to drink... a lot, especially as it warms up

Where do I start,
It's been an intense few weeks, around the house.
The days leading up to the full moon was probably the most activity that I've witnessed.

I knew a few months ago, going for a walk down the back, that there must be a family or a group.
The bush has been trampled, tracks everywhere, stick signs, snapped tress etc etc.

I was right, Saturday 16th, my wife and I went for a little reconnaissance walk, after the activity from the night before. Taking our time, sitting down listening, binoculars, we were being stalked for sure.
So we decided to hightail it back home.

An hour later sitting on the deck, an almighty crash and then massive sounding thud steps.
My wife looked over, about 50m off the deck in the bush, she witness a 8-9 ft black/dark grey "Hairy One".
I was sitting down, by the time I jumped up, probably a couple of second delay the heavy, real heavy bipedal thump steps had stopped.
It sounded heavy.

My girl was white as a ghost, especially realising they are not just 4-5 ft?
She pointed to where she first saw it, uphill striding downhill about 80m, then stopping! Vanishing?

I only heard about 5-6 big thumping strides, so 80 or so meters in a split second! 5-6 strides!
Go figure how quick.

So that night was the full moon night, a harvest moon.
It was so light.
We stayed up till 2 in the morning, stealthing around the house on the different level verandahs watching, listening and witnessing.

Sure enough, we found 3 little one's snuggled together under the mango tree.
It was by fluke, as they were pretty much right under our noses. It was brighter using the binoculars, so was fully scoping everything out, was a big advantage.
I seen a small stick rise from the bottom of the mango tree and tap the log.
Sure enough three little one's were under the mango tree, communicating with wood knocks to mum and dad.
We watched them for 2-3 hours, watched their grey eyes blink, they blinked lots, every 3 secs or so!

I went to bed in the end, my wife still full of adrenalin, stayed till just before light.
She witnessed mum, come down round the back of the house and threw some little stones, for their attention.
They disappeared with the blink of the eye.

Since then, we have been assisted with a good camera/video.
They were quiet for 3-4 days after the full moon, now they are back.

Today had the concretor up here laying a slab, showed him something peaking from a tree!
Sure enough when I started walking towards it, he said it just vanished with the blink of the eye.
Played hide n seek with 3 of them all day, I kid you not.

Soon as I got the camera out gone.
I'm so used to spotting them now, they are always watching, intrigued.
They are the most stealth, elusive, funny characters, I'm getting used to them, if there is the most densest bush around, they will be behind it, watching.

I could go on and on, but thought I would fill everyone in.

They are everywhere, just be more aware.

For some reason we have been chosen, to be analysed by these intriguing characters. (respekt)

Cheers

I bought a pair of binoculars that can take either 25 pictures or film 120 seconds of video before the memory is full.

They only cost me $30 bucks because i bought them off a friend.

You can have them if you want mate.

How was the concrete job in the end? It's hard to do a good job when adrenaline is pumping! Poor tradie was just doing a job now he has a new obsession...probably.
Anyway, eyes on for 2-3 hours is extremely rare. Very few people have that experience.
Amazing stories wellymon.

Yowie footprints in wet concrete would be a first! You would need to get really lucky for that...
Welly, as others have said, many thanks for sharing this astonishing and ongoing experience.
Really looking forward to the next instalment. :D

Yeah YB, It's been an experience, since I first had my sighting.
I would say some!, would find it hard to believe this is all going on, especially around our house ?

We asked about the "Little Hairy Ones", pretty much saying that, "They're put there for education, to learn how to hide from us, being that close first hand observing us"

I was reluctant to post over the last few weeks, but seem to have got my head around things more and have accepted that the "Hairy Ones" presence.

You don't get much privacy, knowing the fact you're being watched continuously.

Hi Huxley,
They sound pretty good, thanks for the offer, but you keep them, you might need them.

I think that it will and has been nearly impossible to get a clear photo.
They're so switched on, whether it be psychic/dimensional stuff or just senses they acquire with being at one with the bush realm.

Yeah Thumper, it's been adrenalin for awhile lately.
Feels like I've been dropping 55 degree terrain on my snowboard again !

We will never forget these last few weeks, thats for sure.
It's taken awhile to accept and get used to it, their presence has been tiring us both out.
Exhausting even trying to document them.

Thats interesting Welly. I was wondering why they would place the young ones so close, knowing you could be sneaking about. Makes a lot of sense to me actually. Maybe testing you a bit as well?

I think they must like you or at least trust you a bit to be so close and for you to see them. That big black and grey fella wouldve been a sight to see.lol!

Yeah although its an amazing experience for you ,it must be unsettling to be watched all the time but maybe their fascination will wear off after awhile?

Hi Searcher,
Thanks, I'm not much of a writer or documenting experiences, I could babble on, but I'm trying to keep things simple. Which in real perspective, they weren't to start off with! but things are making sense.

I've had the lend of a fancy camera/video of late, hard work I tell ya.
The last week, I've tried many stealthy attempts, to no avail, i will keep trying tho.
They know! they hide 3-4 layers behind foliage.

I might have to open a thread in the conjecture part! after all this settles down.
My views have gone 50-50.

My wife was pretty freaked out.
She managed to talk to a well respected Aboriginal Lady (Elder), an amazing wealth of knowledge.
She explained, to accept them, they won't hurt you, they come here and observe ,us to learn from us, we are on ceremonial land from 30,000 years, where we live is the gateway/highway of the "Hairy Ones" from Lamington/Springbrook. They have the ability to change very quick, hence paranormal.
They were put in the bush for a reason, from their past many many years ago, to learn again.

We should take heed alot more, from these explanations pertaining back 60,000 plus years ago, from ones that have this knowledge past down to them.
We are specks of dust in a time line, with a couple of hundred years experience, if that!

An interesting few days again.

These elusive characters, come and ago all day, going from the sound of my neighbours dogs.
I tend to think tho, a couple hang around all day, being perverts. (taz)

My Jack Russell bitch Ninja, is so aware, she runs for the back door, quick as smart.
She's very timid outside now, usually being ten foot tall, things have changed.
(confused), No I don't think so, she's smart and realizes what is in the bush, which is not just the average warm blooded fauna.
(scared), Yep, she understands the power of elusiveness and speed.

Last night, I saw something that reminded me of a photo, Rusty put on this site, "Far South Coast Hominoid Evidence". The photo is actually two photo's joined together to show a daytime perspective of a small string of lights towards the bottom and centre . An entomologist confirmed these lights to be fireflies , previously undiscovered in this area . ?

Whilst viewing through a white hot spot camera, catching sight of a bright white head, 80m away, on the neighbours driveway, peering over some dense bush. I wasn't recording moving along the outside deck, when it seen me and bolted, literally like a flash of lighting.
A bright white streak for 60-70m was left in its wake, for probably a millisecond.

Rusty, maybe your plot watcher picked up the "Hairy One", travelling light speed past the camera. ???
Your photo always baffled me, things are starting to piece together.

These "Hairy Ones" are something out of this world.

Mr Elusive Camouflage CIA, all the time.
Flesh and Blood, real life one second!
Flash Gordon the next millisecond?

No.

Never seen a firefly 80m away, being about the size of a humans head, travelling a distance of 70m in a split second.

Maybe if I was filming, The entomologist could likely confirm these lights to be fireflies , previously undiscovered in this area ! (lol)

It didn't take long at that speed, travelling to the nearest water, either Wolf. (woot)
