I cant see Paul McLeod on the boat anywhere ?

Mayby Paul has set AYR up again with this video. "A preliminary baiting experiment" ,If so, he'd be saying " hook,line and sinker".

Looks like Paul has nothing better to do than try to make us look bad with petty video's of what we think of his fraudulent claims. It's sad really, Paul get a life!

Ultimately, everyone's going to be judged by the standard of their evidence.

It doesn't matter what any of us write. If Paul - or anyone else - comes up with evidence that's convincing then that's all I'm concerned with.

So far I've not see a single video by anyone that couldn't have conceivably been faked. I've never seen a video that's convinced me 100% that it has to be the real deal. Not one.

Like all of us, I accept the possibility that they're there. I wouldn't even bother posting if I didn't have a strong held view that these things really exist.

I just don't think I've ever seen a video that conclusively, undeniably depicts one.

I extracted the audio from Paul's video and found some disturbing but not surprising facts .

At around the 21 second mark there is a sudden increase in volume by around 50% . I'm not making assumptions I'm stating facts and have measured the audio very carefully . The thing is , after the 21 second mark there is less noise but more volume , whereas in the previous 21 seconds of audio there is more noise but less volume .

There is also an abrupt visible line in his audio showing the point the volume increases . After the 21 second mark the picture is darker meaning less noise .

So the question is , how is it possible for daytime ambient noise to instantly get louder while at the same time get less noisey ?

Manipulation of the sound. It seems not only does Paul use Paint. Net, but now uses sound programs to overlay noises into his video's and poorly at that. What other fraudulent things is he going to do. I think we have wasted enough time on him. I only feel sorry for the Subscribers on his You tube channel that believe his claims!.

I also enjoyed his visual overlays, watching Paul on the right reading the posts with his reactions, with the fire scenario playing out in the background. "They lift you up but they don't give a damn." So true, Paul, so true.

I watched it again on my big screen where I watch most of the YouTube videos I watch, when something else jumped out me.
I'm no expert in video editing etc but the area where the tree is seems to not quite line up with the rest. Like when a section of the film has been stabilised.
I can't get a still of it however if you watch the big tree in centre of the frame there seems to be a line where it looks like one part of the video is trying to catch up with the rest of it.
Maybe there's two different videos placed over each other to make it look like the tree spontaneously moves.

TBH, I watched the video but didn't really read the comments
In my personal experience of being charged by one, it was similar with the feet thumping and running down towards with me branches snapping etc, but no huffing / puffing sounds.
I'm not going to say it's fake, but just analyzing the footage, the impact sound doesn't sit well with me, it has kind of a metallic bang, but it could just be the tree fracturing. There is clearly an impact as you can see the tree move and you can see little leaves falling, and also a dark figure move with a step from left to right (right of screen when he zooms in) but then pans to the left.

That's my 2cents. I hope it's real but it's always unfortunate when people who have admitted to hoaxing will always struggle for credibility, and in this game credibility is everything.

Just to add another cent to my post.....
People can make decent money from YouTube, and that's what they are trying to do, if they can get the attention of the media the video will go viral and that makes them money, they loose the "researching for the truth" and it just becomes about pumping out videos for likes and clicks which equals dollars for them.
I'm glad AYR is able to filter these guys out.

I haven't said anything on this but I have had a guteful. Why is the community wasting time on this when there is so much real work to do?
Why are people not putting together useful or interesting papers, reports and their own interesting videos, why are so many members of this community seem so invested in this soap opera...Im done, lets just all move on and get back to real work instead of playing games and getting caught up in c**p!

Wasting time? every ones opinion in valued here including yours Ray, however what if some members here have had a gut-full of wasting money, time and resources into finding the truth to this mystery? or getting no where or slowly to finding answers to it all, only to discover a new member has come along and started hoaxing videos and photos for whatever reason. You could see why most old time researchers may get a little cranky.

Yowiedan puts together a interesting paper called the Yowietimes I believe its been around for quite some time , is this the kind of interesting papers your talking about? In regards to videos a lot of new members seem to like the idea of making interesting videos, however without the guidance of long time researchers, videos can often contain stick structures, tree or stick breaks and many other nature oddities or fantasy prone ideas that have nothing to do with Yowies etc.
