I dunno. I see lots of planting pots, potentially with sand in them, and the sandy footprints looked moist.
Could have had a visitor doing some ninja concreting or brickwork...
Could have family dropping by after being at the beach...
The pots have soil in them, not sand Ive never used sand in my gardening. No work done on the house since ive lived there, we are very far from the beach and have security cameras set up and would capture anyone entering the property and to get to that location they would of passed cameras. Plus consisering I was home at the time I would know if someone drove into our driveway to visit (we live rural and have a long driveway). Trust me, I have thought of all possible theories which is why Im now here. It creeps me out how close it was to my back door (stopping just before a camera) and my dogs didn't notice, they usually go off if someone enters the property. Its not a nice feeling having someone or something lurking that close to your home especially when you cant figure out how they dodged cameras and cant find any other trace!
I understand. I had actually pictured a hairy big fella or little fella on the deck and it would be extremely unsettling. I thought maybe you had some fruit/shoots in the pots and he/she had sand in the fur from the pots, for eg.
I'm sure it's a hairy, just not sure it's a floating/teleporting one.
They teleport??

** gruesome content **
Overnight a pademelon was killed in the paddock. Looks like a male (checked for pouch) and its leg has been completely snapped in half but not eaten and left in direct line of our bedroom window. Could be pure coincidence and it was dingos/wild dogs esp with a full moon lastnight? (our dogs sleep inside at night and dont have access to the paddock during the day) I thought I would post because I know you guys might have more experience with the difference between a dingo/wild dog kill or if it was something else. First time this has happened. Thoughts?
Admin please delete if the pictures are too gruesome for this fourm.

The Photos are fine AstridDoom we have had worse before I am sure.
I have absolutely no knowledge as to what animal will do this to a carcass (break its leg and leave it there), not my field, but seeing as you have had other odd occurrences such as finding sandy footprints I would say a yowie is not out of the realms of possibility.

It could perhaps be some sort of offering from "them" to you/your family?
Similar to how cats sometimes bring small rodents that they've caught to their owners.
OR it could be a warning to you/your family. But you've been in living in that house for some time already, correct? Or have you only recently moved in?

I'm sure it's not a warning sign Astrid. Gift would be far more likely.
Quite probable that a dog or fox has caught paddy by the bag leg/thigh and has started ripping in. The entire thigh portion is missing, along with with the skin/fur.

I do feel like its dingo/dog related because I have seen them run through our property before (trying to keep a logical head here!)
If it is a gift though how do I dispose of it without being insulting?
I thought of taking it down to the thick bush and put it in there for animals/insects to eat but would that be seen as rejecting it if it was a gift?

Might just need to bin unfortunately. But sounds like a perfect gift trade opportunity - watermelon for pademelon.

Hi AstridDoom, with my experience on my family property and hunting dingoes and wild dogs over the years I would say it was wild dogs. Wild dogs kill for the fun of it, they aren’t hungry leaving it out in the open like that. But that’s only my opinion..could be anything?

Hi Astrid, Id be very careful how you react if in your position. It would be best to speak to any possible local Aboriginal Elders or experienced researchers like Rusty, Dean or Ray that have had some experience with Yowies on humans properties. Also if neighbours have had any more issues.
One thing I would do though is ( very secretly!) watch that position you think they are watching your bathroom from when someone is using bathroom. You may actually get a look at who or what it is?
Now I dont know a lot other than they are really smart and very weird. Not just dumb apes as some will try to tell you and more like a neurotic cave person in my opinion of course. Good luck!

1. Pademelon killed and left in the paddock was no gift much more likely to leave a gift on your back lawn or verandah.
2. Hard to get a gauge on how big those footprints are in comparison to your prints they don't appear too large maybe a junjudee.
3. As for an explanation for the sandy footprints disregarding the scepticism of many Junjudee, Yowie, Bigfoot are able to levitate this phenomenon has
been witnessed numerous times with Bigfoot in the US.
I watched a video showing what the indigenous folk believed was a junjudee levitating and floating into the back of a ute.

Hi AstridDoom, i am assuming your a female going by the foot pic. I noticed you would be alone next week. Ron and i cover the northern end of diagular and lately the hairees havnt been about--so im wondering if they have moved South. Anyhow we dont care either way BUT if your home alone Ron and i can come out and camp a night in your back paddock with our equipment if you want. We just want to learn more about them and see if its the part of same family we were communicating with, so basically we will be there to observe and record. We both work so would only get there for 1 night. We will also wonder through the bush to see if there is any yowie signs of them being there. You are welcome to come or stay inside. Anyhow let us know if u need help. Regards Dee

Im glad someone said it.
As far as we are concerned, its teleporting but technically its not.
They can change their light frequency and transition into a spirit world which is where I think they spend most of their time.
They can watch us undetected. They can be photographed as orbes when they are in this state.
They come back into the physical world when they want to eat or leave sandy footprints on peoples balconies.
1. Pademelon killed and left in the paddock was no gift much more likely to leave a gift on your back lawn or verandah.
Good tactical observation Senses. Agree with you here.
Sasquatch are known to leave gifts but never heard of Yowies leaving objects as gifts.
Ive had clothes folded in my living room !.

Hi ripperton, great to see somebody come forth with alternative views.

Hi Ripperton, these are really just your views or what you believe , there is absolutely no proof that they even exist , although
we all believe they do , let alone any proof at all that they can change their light frequency and be photographed as orbs or they live
in one realm or the next
Until one/some are studied we all just guess as to what they are or what "powers " they have
One persons opinion can be totally different to the next , but until they are studied that's all they are , opinions , its what makes the
world such a wonderful place ( mostly )

Having lived on a farm for many years and seeing the results of dog attacks I would hesitate to day that is the culprit.
Additionally I would say it's a domestic dog attack as it's something that they do either out of instinct or for amusement .
I have as recently as last night lost a lot of defenceless sheep to a neighbours dog and I fully suspect that you have the same issue in this instance .

ok so I should put a disclaimer after everything I say so I dont sound too authoritative

The Hairy blokes often break an animal's leg when the grab it (most often by said leg).
The same is true in North America where people often report a combination of broken leg and snapped neck (to finish off the animal).
Was the Paddy melon's neck broken?
Were any vitals taken (heart, liver, guts)?
They prefer the soft meats to thighs, etc apparently... and like most predators will feed on the guts

Gday Ripperton , its not about being authoritive , but when you say ' they can ' or 'they come' you are stating it as fact , when the only
real fact is that we all believe them to be real , and that one day hopefully soon they will be identified as a species then we can all start
stating things as fact
I have been researching and looking non stop for getting on to 10 years inc trail cams continuously for 6 years and even tho I have what I would consider pretty good evidence , I don't even state things as fact to my family ,even tho they are now converts
Like I said we all have opinions but no one has concrete 100% proof , some are very close tho
Cheers Greg

Are you close to a road? Any chance the pademelon could have been hit by a car then made it your yard? I've seen wallabies look like that after being hit by cars and make it a short amount away from the road.

Thanks everyone for your theories and thoughts, I appreciate it

I'm going to go with dog or the road (puts my mind at ease too haha). I ended up leaving the pademelon in the paddock and it was gone by the next morning, Im guessing wild dogs took it. Nothing else weird or out of place has happened but I will let you all know / get your advice if anything does
