Here's the next stage completed of the strip I am working on in my spare time (when I get any)... Just have to add more background detail, shadows, and the critter he threw at the apple to knock it lose falling to the ground...

Yep that looks great. I like the idea of bigfoot using other smaller creatures as projectiles. I reckon a cute fluffy bunny would make a great sasquatch handkerchief!

Of course, the term "bigfoot" is used not because their feet are large in proportion to their body size (they're apparently not), but just because they're well, big (unless they're young juveniles).

Well they didnt have much else to go on. "Bigfootprint" just doesnt have the same ring to it. :(

Heres a few more lookers. They call the top one devil. He does look a bit cheeky! The bottom is a witness sketch. Looks like the guy that feeds the eels at our local park.

Great pics Yb.

The top one is what I would imagine a dog-man to look like, if in the pic the nose and mouth
came forward a bit more doggy......definitely.

As for the bottom pic......lucky Eels.

Hey Tuckeroo, that top one kind of looks like he has ears too. A lot of this bigfoot art is amazing. I like this Ed Roth or Stanley Mouse inspired bigfoot.

I agree, but not a Dogman, the (in)famous Type III, which apparently gets mistaken or misidentified as a dogman. A 'true' dogman is more like this...

Don't have an image or link to hand, but have you ever seen those photos of 'Walmartians' from the USA? Arguably even more scary . . .

Geez they're good and realistic. A good sketch artist can do wonders. That bottom one has got a bit of the yowie look. Top one looks a bit like Dion's avatar from the forum but meaner! Wolf, you would do well as a yowie witness artist. Even better when you see one for yourself when you are out bush! (taz) (woot) (taz)

Hmmm, recovering from a knee replacement right now, and hope to get back into the bush, but seeing these I don't know if I really want to experience a yowie now . . .

I hope you recover well Dave and not in too much discomfort.(thumb) My hips and shoulders are a mess from 20 years of Aussie Rules. Dreading the day i need a hip op!

A bit of yowie action is just what you need to try out those knees . Who knows? You might get a slow one!

Thoughts are with you too, Dave. Hope you manage a speedy recovery. WOW YB! 20 years of footy... must be 3-400 games. That's impressive! Know shoulders can be a problem. Just ask Gary Ablett :D I only played Aussie Rules from around 12 to 19 years of age. My playing days were cut short by a shoulder injury in a Prelim Final on the MCG. (not in the firsts) Probably a good thing as the longer you play, the more injuries you carry through to later years. Reckon I was lucky!

Back on the (Yowie) track... Yeah, like Dave...knowing what I think I know now, I would not be as keen for a closeup encounter with the hairy man as when first joining this forum.

Flat walking is okay, but told to be careful descending anything steep for quite a while - replaced knees take waaaaay longer to get "normal" compared to hips (have had one of these done also). I fantasize seeing a yowie from my back porch overlooking the NP in the upper Lane Cove River (where it's just a creek) - just a pair of Swamp Wallabies once, which I thought was good enough.
