Re: Yowie sightings
Hey Yet2B
I thought I would respond as I hate to see posts go to waste without a response.
I would have to say in all honesty I don’t actually know where Mt lamington is. I am guessing you are referring to Lamington National Park. Is there a Mt lamington there? Forgive my ignorance I’m one of those brought up Victorians.
Doing a quick Google search I came up with a Mt Lamington in Papua New Guinea, but somehow I don’t think that is what you are referring to.
If you are talking of Lamington National Park however I know of surrounding areas where people have had their sightings Springbrook, Mt Warning being a couple and Canungra a little further north.
Any recent activity there I am not familiar with.
I don’t see why they (being Yowies) can’t get to theses areas from there. As the area has a plentiful supply of corridors where a yowie could travel to and from.
Dean or cropster would know more than me as they deal directly with all witness reports.
Hope this helps

Re: Yowie sightings
no yowie sightings here for the caning dam erea of perth western australia , yet. we not long got back from a night time drive outside the electromagnetic enviroment , gravity wave anomaly hunting with my instrament switched on , miles out the bush on a lonely road heading towards caning dam , nola suddenly said to me as we crused along slowly,? what was that i said what was waht she said she thought she saw a tall brown hairy looking figure on my side of the car, off the road standing back looking at us, i dident see anything my eyes were fixed on down the road where the spot lights was shineing ,so we kept going and a few miles away we past an erea that smelt like a dead animal was around and so we kepet going and at the end we turned around and came back the same way , we passed the same spot where the dead smell that smelt like rubbish or a dead animal was and miles down further we passed the erea where she thinks was where she thought she saw something but there wasent anything there no smell no niose so i reckon she emagined it , maybe she mistaken a tree formation as a large brown hairy figure. at no time did we ever feal that dead feeling of being watched so i cant conclude anything yet on this trip
ive been intrested in yowies ,like the american bigfoot for years, i was allso a former member of 2 ufo reserch groups in the 70s and i dazel into electronics , of which i beleave may be usefull in the yowie feild,
