Hi guys
I am off to Mogo next month.South coast of NSW.
I will be heading into the bush over night and spending the next day hiking.
I am going to start at Dog Trap road and work my way back over the highway and work my way up into the mountains.
There are so many old goldmine shafts and other hiding places.
I will be taking a video camera and a digital camera.
Wish me luck and if anyone has any tips or advice please be forth coming.
Thanks guys.
Tony.

Hi.

I used to live at Moruya (about 15 minutes from Mogo) and I'm planning to head back that way at the end of the year.

Let me know if you come across anything as I'm curious to check it out myself.

My girlfriend has had a couple of sightings in the mountains behind Bodalla which is part of the same mountain range. It's pretty rugged so you never know what you'll find.

Good luck!

Hi guys. I have some news. My mate who lives just outside of Mogo was camping up at the old gold mines with his two children. He told me he had a fire going that night. As he was getting ready to bed down for the night he could hear a low grunting noise. He had let the fire die down. He told me he has never heard any noise like it, he has lived there all his life. He was worried, so he stoked the fire up and put more wood on it. The noise died down.
He said he woke up later during the night and he said he could hear the grunting again. He got up and with a spot light and investigated. He could not see anything and could not work out the direction of the noise. He told me he put more wood on the fire, and it was a long night.
My friend said it was a very low grunting noise, was not a pig or anything else he has heard before.
He was camped at the entrance of a gold mine that you can walk into, and it goes into the mountain a long way.
Can anyone tell me if low grunting is our hairy friend??? or another animal???
I am going down that way in a couple of weeks and I'm keen to check it out.
Cheers guys
Tony.
