What a bunch of w#%*kers, it is these morons that detracts from the serious objective research into this subject, no wonder it is so hard to get genuine interest from mainstream science, this is just another nail in the coffin.

Whoops! Seems this wasn't the best career move...

The Herald Sun. 20/08/08, reports:
"Mr Whitton, a police officer who has been on leave to recover from a shooting, may now lose his job over the hoax. Clayton County Police Chief Jeff Turner said he had not spoken to Mr Whitton but was preparing to fire him, the Associated Press reported. "Once he perpetrated a fraud, that goes into his credibility and integrity,'' Mr Turner said. "He has violated the duty of a police officer.''

BFRO reports:
The police department in Palo Alto, California, is now looking into the matter. Palo Alto police have thankfully recognized a few very important things: 1) Their department (among others), and Santa Clara County, have jurisdiction to investigate the matter as a wire fraud crime, because the press conference was held in Palo Alto. 2) Biscardi has done this same scam before. 3) If Biscardi profitted at all from this scam, then it is indeed a wire fraud crime that can be prosecuted. 4) It is quite obvious to everyone that Biscardi was not only complicit in this hoax/scam, but was also the mastermind behind it, after it was delivered to him by Steve Kulls. This last factor is self-evident due to Biscardi's current and past actions, and his current and past statements.

Only a police investigation will reveal whether Biscardi profitted from this scam (which will become more difficult to do as each day passes). If the scam merely helped to partially erase some of Biscardi's debts, that would still qualify as profitting from the scam.

Oh My….. This is turning into a sorry state of affairs isn’t it?

In my opinion I hope they get what they deserve a loss of job would be just deserts and or a fine for profiteering.

They have broken the hearts of many a credible researcher and made us all look like idiots.

I just hope the world sees that it was only a few Yobbo’s that ruined for the rest of us.

This whole thing with the hoaxers has caused those who are true researchers to have a hard time getting anything done anymore. It makes us in the USA look like dumb asses to be sure.

Is it possible that this whole thing was set up right from the start to be a hoax so people would lose interest in the subject?

After hearing about what happened to Dean's files, I'm sure there are people in high places who don't want the truth of this subject to come out.
