Deadpool: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying & Eat Hospital Food
For those of you who remember me, its Alex again (i'm picturing a lot of face palming here) - and to the new people I don't know, hi!
I've been away for some time due to medical reasons.. namely my brain (or Brian, as its called now - geddit? *nudges ribs*) disagreeing with the rest of my body and trying to kill me. Twice. But I prevailed! Woohoo!
So i'm back, and not two weeks after I was aloud to walk around and do my own thing & had myself an encounter! Its posted up on the other board, for those of you who are interested.
So anyway - i'm back kids, hope nobody missed me too much

Oh, well - hospital for about 2 or so weeks - brain operation 'n all. Wasn't a tumor or anything, just an extra bit of brain that disagreed with the rest of me.
After that, about 4/5 months of recovery at home, getting my senses back together (co-ordination & such) - and now i'm prone to epileptic-bloody-seizures. It blows, but its expected after the operation.
I'm on medications now, so i'm good so long as I keep taking them, which I most certainly intend on doing.
Its good to be back cruising around here on the forum, catching up on all the latest news/stories/etc.

Hi Alex! only a newbie here so I don't know you but welcome back after your long hospital stay!
Sounds like something out of a horror movie don't it? "The brain who tried to kill me" !!!
Glad they got it under control

Wish I had an extra bit of brain...*kicks stones* I'm doing the hard yards with the amount I've got.....
Mate a brain operation is a big deal, I'm glad you're doing well. Stay safe.
Thanks mate, its good to be back. I'll stay safe for sure. I intend to go out alot more now in terms of "bushwalking" too. After a near death experience, I learn't that other stuff is easy to tackle. Well, thats what I think in terms of what I went through. Especially the "fear" you get when you're out there on your own.
Psh! Yowie? I'd rather be chased by two of them than go through that again.
