The Spotlight any self respecting Yowie Hunter Should have

Unread post by Yowielover1 »

Here is a video of my Yowie spotlight. I have it attached to a a steadycam as you will see in the video. I bought it when the dollar was above 90 cents for $278 which included a spare battery and postage. Now for the same item you would be paying about 25-30% more given the dollar is at 68 cents.

At ten meters if you look into this thing for about half a second it will give you eye pain for about 30 minutes after. The battery lasts 1 hour and takes 13 hours to charge. There is also 7 led's on the handle that work forever (20 hours+) even if the battery hasn't got the charge to light the big light.

The light given off by this thing is nice and white for video recording too. I had the camera set on a program that made it a little yellow, but on adjusting the exposure another way it comes out white again. This will be a very good safety tool for when the big fella gets too close on a hunt. So below is the youtube link and also a link to the online shop i got this from for anyone interested.

The shop...

Just an interesting bit of information. The shop I bought this light from bought the company that makes the light because they thought it was so good.

Hi YL1,

Very impressive looking unit.

After close analectic scrutiny, I found 3 anomalies that were totally bizarre.

1) There appeared to be an ancient relic bird bath in the middle of the forest?
2) A scream was clearly audible in the middle of the footage (Spooky).
3) A presence of loud breathing can be heard close to you?

Clearly a dangerous location to tackle alone. Please take care.

Serously, the unit you have there is certainly AYR worthy. I like it.

Thanks Dean.

There is a spooky sound at 29 seconds. I didnt notice it while filming. Also the the birdbath in this deep dark forest on closer inspection had Atlantean design feature rocks beside it suggesting it was not a recent addition to the forest. I shall go out the back door again and scout around for more forest anomolies.

Oh...and the heavy breathing was me. I had been on a long treck to reach this secret place.

You are welcome to use the unit whenever you want as long as I am attached to it

Depends on how heavy you are......

I'm interested in a light source that will cover a much broader area, 360 being ideal. Reason why is so many times I'm out there and I just feel I need light behind me as well as in front! Anything come to mind?

That is the best idea I have ever heard, IF YOU DONT WANT AN ENCOUNTER!
