Hey Nicc

Welcome to the board (uh uh)

Never done the trip, what sort of country will you be going into I know it’s Gold Coast Hinterland, but I mean will the trek be all bush? How far into the scrub are you going?

Thanks, it is going to be a great 3 days. I just got a new camera so will be taking some nice photos along the way. The hike is 54km all up and ranges from 100m above sea level to 1200m above sea level. There are rainforest and bush land sections along the way. I will post some pictures and some more info when i get back.

Sounds great Nicc

Be prepared for an encounter that long in the bush you are bound to have one

It may be as simple as hearing footsteps around camp so keep those ears peeled. (thumb)

Look forward to any report you may write up plus photos

Cheers

Ive thought about doing this for years, but the procrastination in me has won every time

My advice would be take twice the amount of water you think you will need, dont forget some warm gear too for the nights as its gets cold up their even this time of year. The most important is tell a few people where you are going and when your going to get back

It goes through a few interesting areas in Numminbah and Springbrook, you never know what you might run into
