Fifth round competition......

Unread post by Lasso »

Now that we have added shirts and hats again to the AYR Prize Cupboard, we have now decided that we need a sticker........ Something we can proudly present on the back of our Cars.

For all you Photoshop buffs out there - design us a NEW AYR STICKER.... We had plans to produce one ourselves, however, after witnessing your many talents of our Great Contributors, we will put this back on you.

• We want something that we can put on the back of a car.
• Black will fade in the sun, but we can do UV resistant stickers.
• We require AVY traditional colours.
• Size of the sticker should be 60mm W x 185mm L

The best one wins...your choice between a shirt, hydration pack or a hat! Having said that, the pride of producing something that will be sent and viewed World Wide should be prize enough.

The winner will be decided buy you guys, everyone will get a vote.

All entries start now – must be received by 27th Nov 2008 on this thread.

You can have as many entries as you like.

A new thread will appear on the 28th November for voting to begin.

All votes must be in between the 28th November and 2nd December with the winner being announced on 3rd December.

Hi All.

For those of us that can't do artwork can we have a competition for the wording?

"AYR does it Down Under", or is the plan to keep it simple?

Nice one Yowielover

Keep them coming

I know I'm ineligible for a prize but couldn't resist getting my hands dirty, here is just an example of what you can create

Its not in AYR colours but black and white. I could have done more with it if I knew my way around Photoshop. (rad)

Would love a sharper image to apply to this sticker. I think this face is a great one to use.

Geeze...talk about throwing down the gauntlet straight away, both are excellent.

Chew, if you wanted to know what I experienced up in the Thompson just have a look at your art work. It took me back to that moment... (sweat drop)

Is there any chance of more than one image for the bumper stickers? Maybe we could come up with several images and choose a few? I know it would be harder to make different patches for shirts and hats etc... but is there a possibility for that to happen??? Trev

By Gosh Lasso, you certainly do come up with the best ideas. Stickers are one thing that we have been asked for from people all around the World for years. What better way to do it!

Why, back in the day, we had the Website URL printed on the back of the cars and that raised a lot of eyebrows, not to mention the comments. It actually brought us a lot of reports.

Great thinking!

Nice work YL1 and Chewy - Looking forward to see what Sticky comes up with.

Remember, as Lasso said, you can put forward as many concepts as you wish.

I think this is one of the best ideas in a long time! For $500 per sticker, we will have a FLIR within Weeks. (You did mention the money Lasso, right?)

Ok couldn't resist doing another one here it is I know I'm ineligible for a prize but I'm having fun with this designing. (rad)

Personally I like the AYR symbol with the footprint that's on the shirts going around. I would love to see that as a sticker its plain but simple I like it! (thumb up)

I would just like to say if you see something you like in another person’s artwork or an idea you would like to use please use it.

It will after all be used to promote AYR worldwide. So we want you to come up with the best piece of artwork you can do.

And as Lasso says you’re not limited to the amount of entries you can have so keep them coming in.

Those that have done one already don’t be scared to do another we want as many entries as possible.

Peace out (yin yang)

PS thanks for that link Strange1 its great (thumb up)

Something 'eye' catching???

I don't think I agree at all with your idea of poaching from others artwork Chewy. I think people should be able to come up with original ideas for themselves.

I would not like to say "I won this competition but I used this other persons idea to win it."
