Unread post by Strange1 »

Hi Guy's,

I have just loaded CS4 on my computer and I have been trying to work it out, making a lot of mistakes along the way...(kill)

Go into 'Edit' Then 'step backward' (thumb up) it should be the same as CS3 which is what i have

hit [CTRL Z] <--- that works for most programs (and cs3) for "Arrrgghhh! I stuffed up help!!!".

Also for CS3, you can go to "WINDOW" and "HISTORY" this will open a history box where you can step back multiple levels of history if you want to.

Other useful short keyboard shortcuts are [CTRL C] <--- is copy and [CTRL V] <--- is paste

[CTRL S] <--- for "save" (not ...save as)

These shortcuts seemed to help me a lot with things. :)

Hey Sticky,

Yes there is, CS4 is worth the upgrade :D (thumb up) Lots of Improvements but it takes a bit of getting used to the new layout of the program. If you ever make the change I recommend getting your hands on Photoshop Top Secret training DVD's. I acquired the box set and I would have to say it's the best tutorial going around for CS.
