... in the VIP Forums section which is restricted to everybody except Admins / Moderators and certain priviledge guests... I posted this...

...just an idea... but can we have a... "I just don't F@$%ing believe it" ... or a... "OMFG... that's incredible" ... or a ... "amazing things within the Forums"... section???...

...the reason being...if you go to the "AYR - Yowie Discussion Board " section and look at the ... "It's a small world after all" ... thread... you will see why... cheers... Stickyfingers.

...the reason being is this... towards the end of my day at work I was showing a printout of an artwork that I'm working on... it's in the... "half way" ... stage... I'm doing an illustration of what I think a Yowie looks like for the sticker competition... instead of using a stock image of a Yowie from the Internet... I decided to do an original version so that I have an... "edge" ... over everybody else... that being said...

... I was showing the image to the guys that I work with to get their opinions on whether it looks realistic or not... (I had to actually explain what a Yowie was to some... they had no idea... ** mental note to oneself... SELF!... start an AYR recruitment drive in near future Sticky** ) ... and somebody from the nightshift was walking through our office... he saw it and said... "great picture of a Yowie!" ... I said... "so you know what a Yowie is eh"? ... he said... "Yeah... of course"! ... after a bit more of discussion this guy mentioned the AYR website... needless to say that I was stoked to hear that he knew of this website!!!!!...

...I asked him if he was a member of the website and and in particular... does he frequent the AYR Forums... to my astonishment... he said ... HE SAID... "YES"!!!!!!! ...

... it turns out that he is...

... "AussieTrev"!!!!!!!! ...

...when he found out that I was "Stickyfingers" ... he just said... "yeah ... it figures"!!!!!! ... can you all believe it????... **Sticky starts singing the Disneyland Theme... "It's a small world after all... it's a small world after all... it's a small world after all" ... song...

...needless to say... we spoke about all things AYR for about half an hour... man I was stoked!!!... (there's gonna be a lot more talk down the track later on believe me!!!)... well there you go!!!... how about that for an eye opener!!!... so what do you all think???... a small world after all??? ... cheers... Great narration of the day. Bit weired though - in a good way! Bl--dy fantastic in many ways as well....Doesn't it make you feel like you are in a bigger club than before????

Yes.......it is true!!......I am Stickys stalker. .....but seriously, it is a small world afterall. You should also mention Sticky that where I ....... um .......we..... work, there are a lot of people that work there. When my mate read your post, he asked me how it was possible to not know someone who works with you. I told him its not like a fish and chip shop, there are hundreds and hundreds of people in a lot of buildings. Its like being in the army, but without the camoflauge and guns
As for your yowie picture, you say you have more to do on it??? I actually thought it looked finished. I feel kinda priviliged to see a Stickyfingers original before anyone else on here. When you post up the finished product, maybe you could put the GREEN yowie up too. Trev

...I actually have posted my full picture up... but Trevor and I rarely see each other because ... as he says... there are hundreds of people that work at our place... and he is on night shift... I'm on day shift... even if Trevor saw my photo... it would've probably been a classic case of... "hmmmmm... that looks like... that looks like Sticky on the AYR Forums... nah you idiot... it COULDN'T be!!!... wake up to yourself!!!"... case scenario I imagine...

...after all... which guy would walk up to another guy and say... "are you Stickyfingers?"... not many I guarantee...

...and the GREEN Yowie Trev is referring too???... as I've said before... the perils of colour blindness... I'll fix the colouring over the weekend... lololol!... hopefully I'll post it up by Sunday or Monday after a fair bit of alterations... cheers... Stickyfingers.
