EVP

For those who may not know, EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena in regard to ghost investigating. Many claim that you can obtain these from earthbound spirits (ghosts) and spirits that have crossed over into the light. I have, from own experiences ,found that it is mostly earthbound spirit that are captured. You can use analogue recorders or digital. I use a Sony notetaker but never use voice activation on it. I have collected evp from direct question asking, having it going in the background while we converse and from recording while I have been asleep in a haunted place. I use Cool Edit Pro 2 to analyse my recordings. I listen with the earplugs direct from the recorder and elimate anything that I do not believe to be an evp and then use my programme on the computer to go over what is left.

It isnt known exactly how this works but generally accepted that spirits can communicate from other dimension and the voices are heard on another frequency. I have actually audibly heard voices that have come out as an evp when no one else heard them. Animals are likely to be able to see and hear these other frequencies that we dont normally experience.

Here are some of my EVP that I have gathered over a few years. I tend to concentrate more on EVP now than I do photography.

My referral to an angel in this post is because I have seen one with my clairvoyance vision(third eye). I never used to believe in that sort of thing but I do now. I would probably have thought I was imagining it except that I felt it near me as well"

A spirit before a visit from an angel. Direct recording from one DVR to another at the site.

Taken while I was asleep, directed at another spirit, not me, because he touched my face while I was asleep

On an investigation where our emf meters went off but we were thinking it was the vid recorder but obviously it wasnt. I did get a picture of a man wearing white near us. He came too close to me John says.

"PERHAPS, LEAVE IT HERE"

Same spirit called John assisting us in our investigation. This was captured on the teenage DVR and you can hear it being places in the middle. I think John was suggesting he put it with mine on the bench seat with the trigger object rag doll.

"GO AWAY "

Same spirit again but this time he doesnt swear. He told me he wouldnt swear again & he didnt as this evp shows. This was in the gaol and it was a warning to the men spirits in there not to come too close.

"TRACE...HEAR ME"

This is him in the gaol asking me to hear him clairaudiently. I get distracted in the gaol and dont hear him sometimes. Must be frustrating when he wants to say somethign and I am not focused. That is usually when i get a poke lol

"COLDER IT IS"

This is another spirit in the gaol. You hear me say that it is getting colder. I felt a spirit near me. Must have been the spirit that said this after I mentioned it. There were only girls present. This is a male spirit.

"DID YOU HEAR THAT?...WHATS GOING ON?"

This is John before he was visited by an angel . This was in the courthouse. There were 2 people speaking, a woman and man but John's deep voice is in the background saying that and then he is saying he is up at J. He is irish.

I felt this spirit near me and he tugged my ponytail. Another investigator asks the spirit "Have you been here long?" and after a long pause you will hear "NO"

"EMMETT"

This is the spirit above saying no but we had asked what his name is and he didnt answer straight away but answered in the next conversation.

On the next visit I deliberately addressed this spirit now I knew his name and it was correct because he answers to it here by saying yes twice to me in a whispery voice

"TRACEY"

This is my name being called. I have amped it where it is said.

"FOLLOW ME...I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING....."

This was taken after I had the feeling my hand was being held on an investigation. It was in front of the shower block.My hand went ice cold compared to the other one. I was getting someone to measure the temp of both hands. This voice is a bit creepy & the story is that in this area a man raped a young girl in the showerblock. That is on record somewhere. When I hear this it makes me think he is still up to his old tricks.I think I cut out some of the evp on the end.

"IT DEFINITELY IS"

This was taken at the gaol and my sister said it was 10.30pm and a whispery voice answers this in response to what she said. This wasnt us saying that.

"I ....... GIRLS" and "YES"

This is a bit soft but is the original version. The very beginning you hear a spirit say " I can/ care/kill girls "(not sure of the second word" and then later I ask if "will I turn this off?" and the ana says "yes" and the spirit says "yessss"
There were only 3 of us girls in the tunnel at the time. The other male was outside the tunnel taking stuff to the car.

"WHORES.............& "YES"

Taken in the daytime at the gaol. Present were 2 female adults and 1 girl and boy child. When I ask if there are any spirits in the cell a spirit calls us "whores" and another spirit answers "yes" We didnt make the 2 knocks and we didnt hear that either. Its an evp also.

"LET GO OF MY HAND"

This one is interesting because I was feeling a hand on mine and held it up in the air while talking to 1 other female investigator who was with me. I forgot about my hand in the air while I talked but then felt a sensation like something was moving on my hand. You can hear me pause when i felt this and then the evp "let go of my hand". I believe there was a hand holding mine.

"GIGGLING"

This was taken in an old hospital. I had captured a photo once of what I believed to be a small child at the window watching me as I left. INside the building earlier my sister had lain on a bed and felt a pressure on her chest, then we both watched a heavy door slam from wide open with no wind or logical explanation for it. The next time in that hospital I got this evp of a child giggling. No children were present and strangely enough one of the investigators was experiencing clairsentience of the child emotions and then you can hear the giggling at the end. It confirmed to me the presence of a child in that hospital that plays around a bit.

"PEOPLE ARE AROUND HERE"

Taken in the tunnel.4 people present. This was a soft one so had to enhance a bit but the spirit is saying "people are around here"

"HERE"

We are familiar with this spirit who says "here" in this evp. Chris had seen something in the viewer of her camcorder and was asking if it could be this spirit. I ask him and he answers "here" so that meant it wasnt him because she saw the black mass a bit further away.

Nice work the first few are the best and are quite clear.

The only one or link I couldn't get to work was the Giggling one.

I commend you on listening to all of that it would have taken quite some time to listen to all of recordings and I guessing you recorded a number of hours of it. Well done on finding those EVP's

Yep...I have to go through hours of listening and often do this while I am driving home with the earplugs or while i am typing stuff on the computer. I can usually spot them now though because they have a certain sound about them. I think with softer ones the spirit wasnt so close or didnt have as much energy.

Odd timber banging sounds-at the 22 seconds mark is a quick male evp voice-Baby wakes from sounds at 30 second mark.

Only what I have heard on spooky websites but you never know what is real or made up. Mike that evp is very strange. First of all, that sounds like footsteps to me. The voice gave me the creeps also because I have heard a voice like that before. I wonder if the baby crying had anything to do with a ghost being in the vicinity.

Now as to the link of the ghost group with the torch. My group have experienced stuff like this in a big way a couple of years ago in a courthouse. I have some footage of that sort of stuff so will post it on another post heading.
