Okay Ive just finished listening to the tape recorder that I left out at that place that I've been watching for the last month or so , NOTHING ! Just normal bush stuff ! . . . . . . . . . . . . . BUT ! ! ! I left a baited cat/dog trap out there with it , and the the trap had been tripped and the bait was gone ! There was nothing inside the trap , and it looked just as I left it ! Nothing came up on the tape deck ! Strange ! It's a metal cage and it rattles alot when it's tripped , but still nothing was heard on the tape deck ! It was baited with road kill which was a couple of days old !

Just one more thing to add to that , I've reloaded the trap with more road kill , but this time I didn't set the door on it , I've left it closed ! We'll see if the baits gone in a day or so !

Sounds strange that the tape didn,t pick the trap door being sprung.
Was it working correctly...

All u can do is try and keep trying different things to see what works best in that enviroment....

Just need to mount a gear stick on the handle bars and PRESTO. No knees needed......LoL.

Ormeau called off Yet again as The weather keeps turning foul...
Five of us going to sit and listen for a couple of daylight hours .Then do a brief sweep thru the area into the night .

And If all Goes well, off to Kilcoy for a over nighter But will PM u and let u know when....

Oh the knees , the knees , OOOOhhhh they hurt !LOL . . . Old footy injuries ! The bait was still in the trap yesterday . I'll head out today and move it to another part of the scrub .

Just wondering on what the latest is with this trap you set up! Has anything happened recently?

No mate , nothing at all ! The last time I was out there , the trap was , as I'd left it , and there was nothing on the v/a tape deck but the usual ! I've been to busy so I haven't been out there to reset the bait !
