Book Sharing

I have been thinking about this for a while now and thought i would put it out there, i have got to know many people from the AYR site, some personally and some through correspondence..all very interesting people with the same interest, i have accumulated anice collection of publications on our area of interest. What do people think of the idea of book sharing, i know we do it informally, but i thought if we had a list of books people were willing to share around with a contact email or even through the PM system, more poeple would get the information they seek, i would think that a person would need to have been a member for X amount of time to establish that they are not a " fly-by-nighter"......what are your thoughts?

Hey Topender..great idea...!!
But..from what I have seen in ...the cryptid field...not many people actually appear to have much interest in books related to these areas of interest.
Its a very small niche market...yet the niche dont buy .. (happy)
Especially with the internet being so readily available as well...for "information"..
Cropper and Healy books for instance sell fairly well in the US...and in Australia to mostly casual book browsers in Blue Mts stores...

but sorry guys im too possesive of my books to hand em round, i like to re read for cross reference, i guard them round the clock, only my very priveliged friends get to see them for small amounts of time and only with latex gloves. (guns pose)

I agree with lil foot. I NEED all of my books - even the crappy ones.

I had to get copies of "Yowies" (2006) from Great Britain.

I'm happy to give and receive recommendations. If you shop around on the web it is usually not too expensive to add to your collection.
