The notes on a sighting in the 1800's by H.J McCooey mention a cave 14 miles from Bateman's Bay in the direction of Ulladulla, containing the skeleton of an Ape 4 foot in length.
Has anyone tried to locate that cave? and perhaps recover the remains?
After all this time, it probably a long shot for any remains to still be there.
