Hi all ive seen this site for sometime finally ive decided to try and post, ive had plenty of problems trying to work out system but it keeps failing, ive had direct contact with employes who reported sighting BF in the northern territory, i was shocked when i became involved, offically it was a stern no comment to the media and everbody elso, reports were blammed on excessive gunja use, to a fare degree i seriuosly agree but they did occur in the right area at the right time but they were extremely unconvincing which made reports from the same area diminished the reports occurred in 1997,

Hi happy to try and fill in some details, reportedly sitings by two group of tourists along arnhem Hwy in 1997, they reported the incendents to staff working at a bridge along hwy apparently very scared, tourists did not go to media but the staff did, the staff then made ongoing less believable reports and it became a apparent that they were injoying the media attention, at the same time more believable reports came out of the adelaide river area which is well known to me and i believe those tourists did actually see something for variuos reasons, No.1 the region is flood prone for at least 6 months of the year you can bearly walk through it let alone drive 4x4 once u get off built up Hwy,s if something was going to survive in isolation then this would be a great place even though its only a 100 or so Km,s from darwin, The residents of adelaide river really dont need the attention they are down to earth nature fearing people, they have to battle the seasons to stay in this place, i know a few of the locals at this time and i spoke regularly with them, they were reporting dogs going crazy, fences pushed over, horses highly agitated, hearing whaling sounds incomparable with anything they had previously heard, they discussed among themselves what might be happening and BF was not an option, many thought a bear (no not koala) , then came a report which at the same time sent chills down everybodys spine and also marked the last report i have heard of comming out of this area, it was by a farmer who was an elderly lady well versed in the sounds of the bush and animals, she was drawn to her back fence in broad daylight when she heard what she described as something in extreme pain suffering, i think the term screamed like a banshee was used in a following report on the incedent, her dogs would not accompany her to the rear paddock they would not leave the yard of the house, as the farmer travelled over the the last crest in the paddock to see the back fence she saw a fugure 4-6 ft tall croughed on the barbed wire fence like a crow with its hands placed betweem its feet, it was screaming, she had her shotgun, she basically had a cardiac arrest when she realised what she was seeing, she was overwhelmed by the smell, she reported that the figure had obviuosly seen her and heard her approach on the small 4x4 but stayed in place continuing to whale, once she could think again she turned her vehicle around and drove straight back to the house and barricaded her self in with the dogs, the whaling continued for another ten minutes then stopped, the farmer relayed that she showed what happened to a neighour, they said that they could still smell it 3 days later it took her many weeks before she left her property and reported the incedent but the coincedence with the reports on the arnhem hwy were very close within a fortnight. it should also be noted that the arnhem hwy junctions with the staurt hwy just south of acacia hills, i think there may have been previous reports in acacia hills their but i think it is being too well developed for horse studs farms and hobby farms that anything could seriuosly stay hidden for long.
