Ok, I know this will look horribly stupid. But I have only just realised this.

Yowies are [censored] big!!

In this pic I saw of a footprint, it's toe was three inches plus !!
*does some rough math*

which means, there's a good chance it's fingers are half the size of my forearm.

I've always imagined that the yowie was just a big hairy man. But, just then, it hit home that these things are HUGE. I'm going to be extra careful now. I've been going bushwalking alot lately, hoping to see/hear something, just wandering along, not really caring. I figured that if I did see something, i'd be able to run away. But, now that i've finally processed this information, i'm going to be really quiet.

..excuse this post, I just woke up, and it might seem like a bit of a ramble.

You just realized how big these things can get that's all. Take a look at this URL and see what I drew based on a Bigfoot eyewitness description and him only standing over a dozen feet away.

Just a gauge for you. I really didn't realize how big they could get until I started drawing them.

Hi Alex

A forearm extends from elbo to wrist. My fingers are already nearly half the length of my forearm ;) Well over a third anyway.

I would expect a full grown bull Yowies fingers to be almost the length of my forearm.

Descriptions like "Barrel Chested", "3 feet across the Chest" etc, tend to spell it out quite clearly. The Junjardee might be small, but the Yowie can be very tall and built like the proverbial brick dunny!

Cheers

Folcrom.

Those are the little dudes that are around here! Been trying to remember the name of them. Little buggers about 3ft tall?
