Thanks for the photo's Cass.
When the photo's were taken, was the Yowie disturbed and retreating or actively moving about?
It's rare to have any photo let alone a daylight photo.
Cheers Buck

Does anyone have the software needed to make the sepia photos a little clearer?

Looks like the MtTambourine sighting was a fleeting glimpse caught on camera.
Now thats what you call lucky.
Unfortunately very faint. If you didn't know it was there, you might not notice it.

Fascinating, looking at the posture, I'd almost suggest it was taking aim...

Which one Hans? I can easily see the top one but the bottom one could be a human.

Top picture looks like a huge Neanderthal.

Sorry, should have clarified that. The bottom image is the one I am referring to. The top image is as you say, looks like a beast of some sort. The bottom image, however, looks like a man taking aim - if I had seen this in the bush I would have ducked sooner than taking a photo!

You know I really suck at trying to identify things in photos! LOL!

Possible that whoever took this photo may have run into some of "our lads" out on exersize!?
Given that they would likely have been wearing camo gear and could possibly have mistaken others in the same area as a possible target, I'd say that would be a reasonable conclusion for this photo. The build certainly doesn't fit the profile that I have read across the 2 dozen websites I have traversed in the last two days.
I don't wish to appear overly sceptical, but I will pick the faults in everything I see before believing anything.

Hans,
Always question..always look for plausible answers. Being skeptical is a great way to be level headed and not be drawn in by hoaxers or people who have been unaware of fakers out there.
Just remember that ALL the Yowie film, pictures, foot casts, hair, feces, etc. mean nothing if they are fakes or misidentified. There have been many of the above I just mentioned. ONLY ONE has to be true and there is something that needs to be explained.
The percentage of evidence to positive proof of a Yowie of some kind existing is to overwhelming for me to dismiss. I believe they exist. Even though I still wonder.
You have a good handle on how to approach the subject to me anyway.
Have a good day,
Bill A.
