R.I.P. Ashley

Unread post by Dean Harrison »

As most of our long term people know, Ashley had been with us since the 90's until a few years ago when he was struck by Cancer. Ash was a key member that contributed like no-one else to Expeditions and Research over the years and was a great team Leader. Many, many, many fond memories and adventures we have spent together.

Sadly Ash passed away last night, leaving two Children and a Wife named Beth.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and also to his family

Though I didn’t know him personally I know he gave much in service to AYR and was well respected amongst the team.

May peace be with him on his next journey

We have travelled all over the Country on all manner of Expeditions for many years on cases regarding Yowies, Bunyips, Ghosts and even for troublesome Humans. We have also performed some great undercover work that I guess will remain unknown.

Wow, what a life of adventure we lived together. Your a legend Ash.

Sadly missed.

To the AYR family who knew Ashley, my deepest condolences. What a great bunch of photos, Dean, they are a reminder of what you and the AYR team stand for, and the times out there actually 'doing' active research. Although I didn't know Ash, I can see by your words that he has had a lasting impression on you, which is usually an indication of a close friendship and quality time spent together.

I'm sure if I'd met him, I'd have thought he was a top bloke.

Keep his memories alive, Dean, because that's how we keep our friends in our heart.
