Are vowels worth more than consonants and is it cheaper to buy it in lower case?
I think they would receive far more for plates saying ‘Leadfoot’.
The insurance for your car may cost less than the insurance on the plates (your actual CAR may cost less than your Bigfoot plates for that matter).
“Sorry mate, can’t come over, have to wash the plates....” “Now I’m a shoe-in for that new role at Athletes Foot...”
Lets keep an eye on this one folks and see exactly what he is offered. Interesting!
Nice find Chewy, good luck with the hunt for some new plates.

Tell him he's dreamin'!
Looks like it's not the plate itself that is expensive.... the guy is offering HAND DELIVERY anywhere in Australia - I'm sure that's gotta be costing a couple of grand on top of the darn item. He's probably going on a cross-country holiday with the proceeds!

Have you seen the other items he's selling?
Perhaps we're all in the wrong business.....

My goodness, he even has a zero feedback rating!
I am guessing he is very new to eBay... can he honestly think he will sell those plates for those prices? The cost is actually on him to post those items as he has to pay the eBay listing fees. But I think there are a few free listings offered for newbies.
If he genuinely wants to sell the things, I am surprised he didn't include a "best offer" option.
EDIT: Addditional... I have just re-read the auction and he is only selling ONE plate in each auction... that means if you want the set for your car, you will have to pay for another one!

I cant believe this the guy has actually put the prices up on his items after they didn't sell, no sign of the Bigfoot number plate being re auctioned though.

I sent him a question on ebay asking had he been made any offers (yeah Im nosy) and he asked if I was interested.
I told him I would need to take all my bottles and cans in for recycling and Id get back to him.
I have recieved emails since asking if I still wanted to buy the BIGFOOT plate and was wondering if I could organise a bank cheque!!!!!!!!
I told him I could organise a cheque but he had to promise not to cash it for a couple of years. He said he would not re-list it for a while incase I could come up with the $54,000 in the next week or so.
Im not sure if he has a really good sense of humour or is a sandwich short of a picnic.
Curious......

I bet if you told him you had 3 cars and needed 3 sets, but wanted a discount, he could do it cash in advance.

Lol….. Nice one curious
After those emails you sent him I would have to say the latter.
I just cant believe he put his prices up after getting no response, something seems awfully fishy about it.

you know maybe it sounds like a high price, but if the footage released in the u.s this year of a bigfoot is as good as they are making out to be, in other words proof of this species, then im sure the plates would turn out to be a lucrative investment.

That is a good point lil foot. Same with ufo's too!
Do you have any links about this footage you mentioned from USA?

its been talked about for a long time on most forums but the whole story and the footage contents have been kept hush hush, except for a few leaks here and there.
basicly it involves one sas or more involved in a habituation with a human family over a long period, video was taken early on by the people of the house as the animal would come for a free feed that they would provide in their yard, other than that ive heard rumours of investigators living on site to study and film the animals over again, a long period, and has also supposedly had people of the sceintific world involved. this has been a long prossess, as the first contact was in 2005. so as you can see curious we have been waiting on the edge of our seats for so long that my left butt cheek is numb.
this sort of long term contact between sas and humans is also told in the book 'impossible visits' by chris noel, which im reading at the moment, its very interesting to say the least, to think most of us would give anything for one glimpse of this animal, and somewhere there are people who get daily visits.

Well as I thought the guy has relisted the Bigfoot number plate this time for a whopping $56,000.00, $2,000 more than last time after it didn't sell. If it doesn’t sell this time what’s the bet he puts it up another $2,000. Something tells me this guy doesn’t have much sense.
