Correlation between temperature/seasons and Yowie encounter?

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone has ever statistically analysed if there are certain months, seasons or temperature ranges that sightings are more likely to occur then others?

Temperature: Does temperature affect the possibility of a sighting/encounter/experience? Are there more encoutners in hot temperatures, cold temperatures or is there no discernable pattern?

Month/Season: Following on from temperature, certain months and seasons have differences in temperature and rainfall. There seems to be agreement that rain deters encounters from happening and there is definite rainfall patterns where some months are drier than others and therefore the drier months should provide more opportunity for encounters. Also wondering if certain areas are only active during certain seasons, for example are encounters in the blue mountains more likely to occur in spring then winter or summer?

Perhaps some of the more experienced researchers on the subject can answer and share knowledge about this? Or is it something that has not been deeply considered?

We tried pouring ouselves over Documentation and our own reports for decades. Each time we came close, some dozey Yowie would step out of the woodwork and ruin our hypothosis. A short summery may come up as this - Sept to March. Why? Perhaps these are the times that WE are more active rather than they! Makes more sense than they are LESS active during these times.

Same view I guess interms of why they are most frquently seen in more areas than others..... think about it. I think you can come up with that answer without my input. Key word could perhaps be "Fringe".
