Historical tour reaped rewards

The Friends of ‘The Oaks’ are conducting a ghost tour of this historic
110 year old homestead. After the tour, enjoy a hot wine supper.
$30 per person (inc supper)

Early last year I went on this tour which we knew would be more of a historical tour but we were interested in that .The place is reputably haunted by the history, the present owner, the public and some investigating groups. Personally, I thought it was just one of those places they think are haunted by stories. We were wrong. The evening turned out to be very interesting.
Only 3 of us went on this "historical tour" and the rest would have been sorry because the "supper" was something to die for. Very nice reds and whites and marinated food and......now my mouth is watering lol
Anyway , before hand we spoke with the historical society organiser. The tour was to benefit the society and the present owner of the house who was a doctor, opened his house. We told the organiser that were were actually investigators. She allowed us to go in the house on our own before it all started while the rest of the tour had wine and nibblies outside. I was lucky enough to obtain 2 evp during this time

and a male spirit saying "pictures". Unforutnately I must have got rid of the rest of that file but if I recall I was saying something about the camera so the spirit was talking about the camera when it said "pictures"

But the strangest thing on the night was that twice Ana and I witnessed knocking that was very distinct from sounds around us and and very noticable. The knocks on the piano seat we even felt .
First of all this is the room where we heard the first knocking. At the time we were in the tour and we walked into the room first and took up residence to the right of that door infront of the cupboard and to the left of the beautiful fireplace mantel.We then waited for everyone to come in and you will hear the noise of their feet. There was a woman from the newspaper standing right on the door and to the left of me with a camera.
While the peole were coming in , Both Ana and myself and even the media woman, heard 4 very loud synchronised knocks on the wardrobe door behind us. You could tell it came from the cupboard behind me adn the media woman looked also. I knew it was paranormal and not people coming into the room.You wlil hear the knocks after I mention that I always leave the recorder going because you get evp behind the noise

After the historical talk in that room we moved to another. She was talking about something and ana and I were sitting on a piano stool together. While the woman was talking we both heard and felt 2 loud knocks on our seat.. This is them

The best thing about this night was the food, absolutely delicious. Worth every bit of $30. Bottles of really nice reds and whites were opened and the food was to die for. We stood around a fireplace after and had all this food.
