Yeah Shazz

The UFO thing has been in the papers up here every couple of days, Alan Ferguson has been photographing the UFO's now for a couple of years, interestingly all this stuff occurs in the same place as the Yowie stuff.....yeah coincidence maybe, but it seems that the Acacia Hills are producing a lotta weird goings -on.
I have read that there are a group of yowie-ologists out there who believe there is a strrong UFO/YOWIE connection, i guess that the fact that this UFO stuff is occuring within 3 kms of Yowie sightings and reports deserves some consideration.............."the truth is out there"...or over there.....or here...or something.

cheers

despite his disapointing footage ( and i am not into the UFO thing) there is a lot of " strange activity" going on, there have been whole tourist bus loads of people witnessed objects in the sky, local farmers, the local MLA also came out of the closet to admit hes seen odd objects over the Acacia Hills.....all i can say is " theres somethin strange in them thar hills"

UFO experts would use the term “Hot Spots” to indicate persistent numbers of UFO sightings over an area. Question is; why do they concentrate over an area as if they were setting up a base command or searching for something.

Good question Yowie88...

Topender, are there any military base in the area?

Arrrrrr Yup,
Robertson barracks is a very large Army base located about 10kms North of Acacia site, also the Acacia Hills are in the Civil and Military flight path.

the other place is an obscure isolated Military base about 15 kms west of Acacia located 20kms down the Old Litchfield rd off the Cox Penninsula Rd ( easy found on Google Earth), not sure what it is used for, but it is very well fenced with warning signs etc etc

x
130 Degrees, 51'09.61 E

for that army base in the scrub.................lets call area 52

With a lot of evidance that something strange is going on in and around area 52.. And after much delibaration... It was decided a reconnaissance mission into Area 52 was needed to see what is actually going on...unfortunately with the lake of funding and not knowing how to fly a plane.. (scared) I had to resort to satellite images instead...

Image

Well the evidence speaks for itself..

Back to being serious... there is a strong correlation be- tween UFO sightings and military bases particularly so called underground military bases. And the more I look at that satallite image, it is strange how that building goes into the side of that hill...

Topender..You have obviesly been around this area quite a bit. Have you seen this place first hand at all and if so dose that building go into that hill or is it just the lack of clarity in the image itself that makes it look that way?

The place you have displayed is an A.D.F. small arms firing range. If you look a bit further to the N.E. you will observe the rifle range, the butts and the different firing distances.

The buildings are for administration, range equipment, and probably ammunition / explosive storage. There is nothing unusual about this joint.

If there was anything of a contentious nature there, the place would have fences and security facilities. These are not visible.

There is a large A.D.F. component in Darwin & its environs, & as they cannot discharge weapons in the urban environment where they are situated, they need a facility in an isolated location. So there it is!

Not withstanding, there is still a lot of UFO activity around the Top End. I believe the USAAF & RAAF activities are the attraction.

Area 52 has been debunked... (detective)

There is no way I will get the funding needed to travel to the Topend to investigate this now. I was so close, I can almost smell Litchfield..cough..cough..I mean area 52.. (eek)

Jack, your not from a highly trained military intel back ground are you?

I'm not so sure... after all, those "crop circles" appearing in the top right hand corner are yet to be fully explained. ;)
