I'm sure this link is on here somewhere, so sorry if I'm re-posting it. As I've never seen/smelt/heard/felt/sensed a yowie ( ), I was wondering for the ones among us who have, does this sound familiar? Some who have heard the yowie's call have said it's "indescribable" and "somewhere between a growl/yell/scream"... but is this similar to anything anyone's encountered? (At 1.00)

That Supposed Yowie call at 1:00am isn’t from south east Victoria like they state in the YouTube clip but is the Ohio call from the Columbian country in Ohio. This howl is as close as possible to what me and my old man heard in the Blue Mountains a few years back, in fact a dead ringer to what we heard.

No I haven’t I live about 2 -3 hours drive from there at the moment have only just moved up to the Central coast and I don’t have a car at the moment, so i have no way of getting around to check things out. At the time when me and my old man heard it, it was just starting to heavily rain so it was just audible. I heard it strait away, I told my old man about what I heard a few days later and he said he heard the same thing. A definite Howl it came from the other side of the ridge estimated 2-3 km away. I’ll never forget it quite spooky indeed.
